Joanna is a competitive fencer at the end of her career who is desperate to be the world’s best. In order to gain an edge, she pursues an experimental technology, allowing her to train via lucid dreaming, where she begins a tumultuous affair with her instructor that threatens her real world marriage and her pathway to Olympic gold.

Heather Doerksen (pronounced Dirksin) is a Canadian actress who has appeared on stage, and on screen alongside such actors as Kathy Bates, William H. Macy, Christopher Lloyd, and Jessica Alba. She has voiced many cartoons and advertising campaigns.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Simon Fraser University, and upon graduation, became a founding member of Genus Theatre.

Stephen Lobo (born November 22, 1973 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actor, best known for his roles in the television series Arctic Air, Godiva's, Painkiller Jane, Falcon Beach, Little Mosque on the Prairie and Continuum. In 2011 he appeared in Mike Clattenburg's film Afghan Luke.
Annette Reilly is an award-winning filmmaker and actor, known for her role as Diana Spellman, Sabrina's mortal mother, in the Netflix original "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". Growing up in small town Alberta, she pursued her love of theatre with a BFA from UVic, both acting and directing once she graduated. Annette was eventually led to film in an effort to bring pressing social justice issues into cinematic storytelling. Her film "A Typical Fairytale" (which she directed, produced, and starred in), was released on Telus VOD in September 2018, was nominated for 4 Leo Awards in 2019, and has won an award for Best Art Direction.
