Heidi von Palleske was born on November 9, 1959 in Toronto, Canada. She is an actress and writer, known for Dead Ringers (1988), The Boys Club (1996) and RED (2010).
Trish Rainone is a screenwriter, director, digital content producer and an actress. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. She grew up as the middle child in a family of girls, raised by their mother. She realises now that she was always a writer, as she often wrote short stories, poems and songs while sitting in science and history class as a teen. She appeared on several episodes of a national television series at nine but was terrified of performing on camera and on stage, and shied away from acting for years after. She is now the writer of many shorts, web-series and feature films. Her first short, 'Constance,' though low-budget and shot in her basement, gained her a best actress and screened at festivals across North America in 2015. Her second self-created project was the comedy series which appears online, 'My Roommate's an Escort,' with co-creator Katie Uhlmann and executive producer David Carruthers. Season one took home Best Comedy at the Miami Web Festival, Best New Media at the Kapow Film Festival in Los Angeles, and the Director's Choice Best Series Award & the Audience Choice Award at the Austin Revolution Film Festival in 2017. Season Two of 'My Roommate's an Escort' was shot in her hometown of Sault Ste. Marie with the addition of producer, Rebeka Herron, and the contribution of the Canada Media Fund and the NOHFC. Season two is set to release in winter of 2019. The show stars & showcases a hilarious ensemble of Canadian ACTRA performers. Trish Rainone and Rebeka Herron have since opened a production company entitled, '180 Sisterhood Productions' where they have multiple series, shorts-for-concept and feature films in various stages of development. In 2018 and 2019, Trish gained many nominations for the Best Lead actress for her work as Ellen in 'One Night Stand' (WKZ Media) at festivals worldwide. The film earned the 'CTV: Best in Shorts: 2nd place' at Cinefest in Sudbury, ON in the fall of 2019. Though screenwriting is her focus, acting is a passion and Trish has appeared on-screen, most notably in 'The Void,' 'V-Wars,' both seasons of 'My Roommate's an Escort,' 'One Night Stand' and in commercials for 'Budweiser,' and 'Canada Protection Plan.' Trish co-wrote the heartfelt coming-of-age feature film, 'Not All Who Wander Are Lost' with Tyler (Daley) Blake Smith in 2018-2019, which she has plans of producing to honour his life and to share his beautiful story, as he has since tragically passed of cancer. Trish's directorial-debut, 'Milk,' will release in early 2020 and she plans to advance the short film into a feature film in 2020.
