Benjamin Aldridge (born November 12, 1985) is an English actor, born in Devon. After years with the National Youth Theatre, Ben graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with a bursary from the Genesis Foundation for young actors. He left early to begin filming his television debut alongside Ray Winstone and Parminder Nagra in Compulsion. He is notable for his role as Harry Fanshawe, husband of the title character in the 2008'Channel 4's critically acclaimed Civil War epic The Devil's Whore. He was selected by Screen International's 2008 "Stars of Tomorrow". As well as roles in First Light, Lewis, Toast and Vera, Ben also appeared as Daniel Parish in the BBC's period drama Lark Rise to Candleford. In 2011 the American network The CW cast Ben as the lead in their Pilot "Heavenly". Later on he spent time in Belgrade shooting the partially improvised love story "In the night" for director Ivana Bobic and award winning cinematographer Rain Li, alongside supermodel Daniela Dimitrovska. In September 2014, he joined BBC Original British Drama Our Girl as Captain Charles James. Ben is a co-founder of "In the Corner Productions".
Jonathan Drew Groff (born March 26, 1985) is an American actor and singer. He began his career on Broadway, rising to prominence for his portrayal of Melchior Gabor in the original production of Spring Awakening (2006-2008), for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, becoming one of the youngest nominees for the award, at age 21. He returned to Broadway to portray King George III in the original production of Hamilton (2015), for which he earned a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. For the original cast album of Hamilton, he, along with the other singers on the recording, won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
Branching out into film and television roles, Groff made his film debut in Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock (2009), and became a recurring guest star in the Fox musical-comedy series Glee (2009–2015) as Jesse St. James. He voiced the roles of Kristoff and Sven in Disney's Frozen franchise, including Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019), two of the highest-grossing films of all time, as well as the short films Frozen Fever (2015) and Olaf's Frozen Adventure (2017). Groff starred as Patrick Murray in the HBO comedy-drama series Looking (2014–2015), the network's first TV series centering around the lives of gay men, as well as its subsequent television film, Looking: The Movie (2016), and portrayed FBI Special Agent Holden Ford in the Netflix period crime drama Mindhunter (2017–2019), produced by David Fincher, for which he won a Satellite Award. In 2021, he received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie for his performance in the Disney+ live stage recording of Hamilton.
Groff starred in the fourth installment of the Matrix franchise—The Matrix Resurrections (2021)—as Smith, replacing Hugo Weaving from the original trilogy. In 2022, he executive produced the HBO documentary film Spring Awakening: Those You've Known, which saw the 15 year reunion of the original cast of the musical, and voiced the lead role of Ollie in the Netflix series Lost Ollie. He stars in M. Night Shyamalan's apocalyptic horror film Knock at the Cabin (2023) and will return to Broadway in fall 2023 in the first revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along.
David Michael Bautista Jr. (born January 18, 1969) is an American actor of Filipino-Greek descent and retired professional wrestler. He had several stints in WWE between 2002 and 2019. In his acting career, he is most widely known for his portrayal of Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), up until leaving the franchise after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), and for his portrayal of Glossu Rabban Harkonnen in Denis Villeneuve's Dune (2021) and its sequel, Dune: Part Two (2024).
Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint (born August 24, 1988) is an English actor. Grint rose to fame for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series. Abby Quinn is an actress and singer-songwriter from Michigan. She attended Carnegie Mellon University for acting. Abby has been acting in both film and television since 2012. She has appeared in Law and Order SVU, Better Call Saul, and in "Arkangel", an episode of Black Mirror directed by Jodie Foster. She recently played Mabel alongside Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser in the 2019 reboot of Mad About You. Abby starred in the Gillian Robespierre directed film, Landline, alongside Jenny Slate, John Turturo, and Edie Falco. Abby also starred in After the Wedding alongside Julianne Moore, Michelle Williams, and Billy Crudup. This film is directed by Bart Freundlich and was the Sundance Film Festival opener in 2019. Abby plays Annie Moffat in Greta Gerwig's Little Women (2019). Abby's other projects include Good Girls Get High (HBO Max), I'm Thinking of Ending Things (Netflix) and Hell of A Summer.
Manoj Nelliyattu "M. Night" Shyamalan, born August 6, 1970, is an American filmmaker and actor. He is known for making original films with contemporary supernatural plots and twist endings. He was born in Mahé, India, and raised in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania. The cumulative gross of his films exceeds $3 billion globally.
He made his directorial debut in 1992 with his first movie Praying with Anger. His second movie was the comedy-drama film Wide Awake (1998). His most well-received films include the supernatural thriller The Sixth Sense (1999), the superhero thriller Unbreakable (2000), and the science fiction thriller Signs (2002). For The Sixth Sense, Shyamalan received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Director and the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Afterward, Shyamalan released a series of poorly received but sometimes financially successful movies, including the period-piece thriller The Village (2004), the dark fantasy Lady in the Water (2006), the eco-thriller The Happening (2008), The Last Airbender (2010) (an adaptation based on the first season of the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender), and the science fiction film After Earth (2013). Shyamalan is also known for filming and setting his films in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most of his commercially successful films were co-produced and released by Walt Disney Studios' Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures and Universal imprints. In 2008, Shyamalan was awarded the Padma Shri by the government of India.
