Gemma Chan (born November 29, 1982) is an English actress. Xiao was born in Changsha, China, and moved to New York as an infant, before ultimately settling in St. Louis, Missouri, with her family, starting acting in middle school. Growing up, she was called racial slurs and decided to be an actress to break against stereotypes. Xiao founded Career ACTivate, which specialises in helping actors jumpstart and progress their careers.
Xiao was cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming in a role that she denies was initially written for an Asian-American actress. Marisa Tomei, who plays Aunt May in the film, lobbied for Xiao to be cast. Her role ended up getting cut in the final film.

Kang was born in Gainesville, Georgia, to South Korean immigrant parents and spent his adolescence in California. He attended the University of California, Riverside. While in college he chose acting over law school, a decision which was met with disappointment from his parents due to their concerns over the lack of Asians on American television and lack of job prospects.
His first major role was in Better Luck Tomorrow (2002), in which he played Han Lue, an aloof gang member and the cousin of Virgil Hu (played by Jason Tobin). He was one of the stars in The Motel, in which he played Sam Kim. He played the same character Han Lue in The Fast and the Furious film franchise, appearing in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and F9 as well as the short film Los Bandoleros. He also had a role in Jet Li's film War (2007), playing an FBI agent, and was featured in the movie Forbidden Warrior as Doran, a son of Genghis Khan. Chau was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, of Chinese and Vietnamese descent. When he was roughly 6 years old he and his family moved to Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). At the age of 7, Chau moved from Saigon to France due to the Vietnam War and after a year moved to Washington, D.C. United States. It was here that Chau and his family lived and where Chau was schooled.
After he graduated from College, Chau moved out to Los Angeles where he has remained since and now lives with his wife and daughter.
