Susan Alexandra "Sigourney" Weaver (born October 8, 1949) is an American actress. Weaver is considered to be a pioneer of action heroines in science fiction films. She is known for her role as Ellen Ripley in the Alien franchise, which earned her an Academy Award nomination in 1986 and is often regarded as one of the most significant female protagonists in cinema history.
A seven-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Weaver won both Best Actress in Drama and Best Supporting Actress in 1988 for her work in the films Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl, becoming the first person to win two acting Golden Globes in the same year. She also received Academy Award nominations for both films. For her role in the film The Ice Storm (1997), she won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress ina Supporting Role. She also received a Tony Award nomination for her work in the 1984 Broadway play Hurlyburly.

Hannah Dakota Fanning (born February 23, 1994) is an American actress. She rose to prominence at the age of seven for her performance as Lucy Dawson in the drama film I Am Sam (2001), for which she received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination at the age of eight, making her the youngest nominee in SAG history. Fanning played major roles as a child actress in the films Uptown Girls (2003), The Cat in the Hat (2003), Man on Fire (2004), War of the Worlds (2005), Dreamer (2005), and Charlotte's Web (2006), and the eponymous character in Coraline (2009).

Robert Hobbs was born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1972. At an early age his family moved to Welkom, a small mining town in the interior of SA. There he was educated at Christian Brothers College and developed a love of performance through a series of school concerts and trips to the local Saturday morning film matinées.
Following his passion, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts / Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama from the University of Cape Town in 1993.
He was cast in a number of theatre roles including Macbeth for the SA State Theatre and his performance in Yasmina Reza's Life x 3 garnered him a Naledi Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Brandon Auret (born 27 December 1972) is a South African actor known for his role as Leon du Plessis in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo.

Sharlto Copley (born November 27, 1973) is a South African producer, actor, and director who has produced and co-directed short films which have appeared at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as commercials and music videos. He is perhaps best known for playing the roles of Wikus van der Merwe in the Oscar-nominated science fiction film District 9 and H. M. Murdock in the 2010 adaptation of The A-Team.

Jose Pablo Cantillo (born March 30, 1979) is an American actor of Costa Rican descent. Jose Pablo Cantillo (known as 'Joey' in his HS days) grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana, and attended Terre Haute South Vigo High School where he was a tennis standout for all 4 years, leading the Terre Haute South Braves to a State Runner-Up finish in 1996. He attended Indiana University, and graduated in 2002 with a double major in Finance and Marketing. Cantillo then decided to pursue an acting career in New York City after taking some drama classes at IU. In late 2003, he moved to California, where he and his wife Kristi, and their 7-year-old daughter live in Santa Clarita, a town “that kind of reminds us of Terre Haute.” After doing off-Broadway plays in New York, Cantillo landed guest roles on popular television series from early 2000 to present. After 2006 he started getting supporting and large roles.

Jason Cope is a South African actor best known for his work in Neill Blomkamp's District 9.In the film Cope plays a variety of different characters including the alien Christopher Johnson and the character Grey Bradnam, one of the narrators of the film. Cope also performed the majority of the background voice work in the film; voicing most of the police, pilot and other background voices in addition to the voice of the cameraman Trent.For the creation of the character of Christopher Johnson the film used a process similar to the creation of the character of Gollum played by Andy Serkis in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy using a CGI character modeled on the performance of an actor. This allowed for on-camera performances by the actor, allowing the aliens to interact with the other cast members. Cope is the grandson of the South African writer Jack Cope.
Cope trained as a magician at age 9 and briefly worked as a filler act in a South African circus at age 13. He continued to perform professionally on a part-time basis until he completed his schooling. Later, once he had finished school, he went to London to become a street performer.
At the age of 29 he returned to South Africa and performed stand-up comedy at venues and events around the country.
Cope wrote for and acted in the television comedy show The Pure Monate Show.
