James Oliver Cromwell (born 27 January 1940) is an American film and television actor, probably best known for his role as Dr. Zefram Cochrane in Star Trek: First Contact. He has been nominated for an Oscar, three Emmy Awards, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards during his career.
Cromwell was born in Los Angeles, California and was raised in Manhattan, New York. He was adopted by actress Kay Johnson and actor, director and producer John Cromwell, who was blacklisted during the McCarthy era. He was educated at The Hill School, Middlebury College and Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University), where he studied engineering. Like both his parents, he was drawn to the theater, doing everything from Shakespeare to experimental plays.
He has long been an advocate of leftist causes. In an October 2008 interview, he strongly attacked the Republican Party and the George W. Bush administration, saying their controversial foreign policy would "either destroy us or the entire planet." He became a vegetarian in 1974 after seeing a stockyard in Texas and experiencing the "smell, terror and anxiety." He became an ethical vegan while playing the character of Farmer Hoggett in the movie Babe in 1995. He frequently speaks out on issues regarding animal cruelty for PETA, largely the treatment of pigs.
Cromwell was married to Anne Ulvestad from 1976 to 1986. They had three children. He married his second wife, Julie Cobb, on 29 May 1986.

Paul Christian Scheer was born in Huntington, New York, on January 31, 1976. He attended St. Anthony's High School in Huntington, and then went on to study communication and education at New York University.
After graduating from NYU, Scheer began his comedy career with the Upright Citizens Brigade, a sketch comedy troupe based in New York City. He also began appearing in television and film roles, including a recurring role on the MTV sketch comedy series Human Giant.
In 2009, Scheer co-created and starred in the Adult Swim comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV::. The show ran for three seasons and was a critical and commercial success. Scheer also co-created and starred in the FX/FXX comedy series The League, which ran for seven seasons.
In addition to his television work, Scheer has also had a successful film career. He has appeared in films such as The Hangover, The Disaster Artist, and The Lego Movie 2. He is also a co-host of the popular podcast How Did This Get Made?, which discusses bad movies.
Scheer is married to actress June Diane Raphael, and they have two sons. He is a frequent collaborator with his wife and longtime friend Jason Mantzoukas.

Mike Connor Gainey (born January 18, 1948) is an American film and television actor whose distinctive mustache, 6'2½" height, and threatening look have given him supporting roles as Southern/Southwestern types, thugs, and criminals. M.C. Gainley attended the University of Southern Mississippi prior to moving to California. He worked as an undertaker's apprentice before he decided to study acting. In the early 1970s he attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco along with Ken Hixon. In 1981, he made his big-screen debut in the Steve Martin musical Pennies from Heaven. Since the early 1980s he has been in over 50 movies and made for TV movies, including Breakdown, Two Idiots in Hollywood, Con Air, The Mighty Ducks, Are We There Yet, Terminator 3, Sideways, and 2005's The Dukes of Hazzard. He was one of the stars of the short-lived television series Against the Law. He has guest starred on over 40 television shows, including The Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, Designing Women, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Walker, Texas Ranger, CSI, Cheers, Days of our Lives, The X-Files, Desperate Housewives, Burn Notice, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and had a role as Tom Friendly on the series Lost, a character who appeared in 20 episodes, as many as some former main cast members.
