Cecil Taylor Nichols (born March 3, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan) is an American actor best known for roles in the Whit Stillman films Metropolitan, Barcelona, and The Last Days of Disco. His characters in these films were insecure, stuttering sidekicks to those of the more outgoing Chris Eigeman. Nichols and Eigeman also played minor roles in the independent film The Next Step, released in 1997, of which Nichols was an associate producer.
Paul Pape began his professional career as an actor in New York when he was invited to be one of the original members of the Collonades Theater Lab (a repertory company). He did his apprenticeship with this acting company, that featured future notables Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Jeff Goldblum, Kathleen Noone and Michael O'Keefe. After going Off-Broadway to appear with Kim Hunter in "The Cherry Orchard", he got his break when he was cast to co-star as 'Double J' opposite John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever".
Edgerly was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and moved at the age of 2 with his mom and two brothers to Savannah, Georgia.
He attended Benedictine Military High School and the University of Georgia later on, where he would entertain his friends with lots of impressions. After a season of rugby at the university, he tried his hand at stand-up comedy at the urging of his roommates. A 10-year career touring the country followed (where his ability to do voices came in handy), punctuated by the occasional TV appearance on Nickelodeon. He relocated to Orlando in his early 20s and then later, he relocated to Los Angeles. Edgerly has since settled into the world of voiceover, in which he provides voices for movies, TV shows, and video games, and he still does the occasional stand-up gig around town.
