Darryl Lynn 'D. L.' Hughley (born March 6, 1963) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is best known as the star of the ABC/UPN sitcom The Hughleys, and as one of the four comedians featured in the Spike Lee film The Original Kings of Comedy. Additionally, he has been the host of CNN's D. L. Hughley Breaks the News, a correspondent for The Jay Leno Show on NBC, and a local radio personality in New York City.

He is perhaps best known for his roles as Calvin Butler on the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood, Mullins on The Last O.G., Reverend Boyce 'The Voice' Ballentine on The Soul Man, co-starred as Cedric Jackie Robinson on the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, Eddie in the Barbershop films, and as one of the four comedians featured in the Spike Lee film The Original Kings of Comedy. He has starred as the lead in the films Johnson Family Vacation and Code Name: The Cleaner. He hosted BET's ComicView during the 1993–1994 season and Def Comedy Jam in 1995 as well as the 12th season of the daytime version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2013–14. In 2019, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
