Wrestle Kingdom 10 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 4, 2016, in Tokyo, Japan, at the Tokyo Dome. It was the 25th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show, which is NJPW's biggest annual event and has been called "the largest wrestling show in the world outside of the United States" and the "Japanese equivalent to the Super Bowl". The event featured ten matches and was main evented by Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi. As part of the talent exchange partnership between NJPW and the American Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion, the event featured a match for the ROH World Championship as well as the NJPW debuts of ROH wrestlers Cheeseburger, Jay Lethal, Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe.

Kazuchika Okada is a Japanese professional wrestler. As of March 2024, he is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of The Elite stable and is the current AEW Continental Champion in his first reign. He is best known for his 18-year tenure in New Japan Pro-Wrestling where he was a five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, with his fourth reign being the longest in the company's history at 720 days. He also holds the record for most successful title defenses with 12. After the title was unified into the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Okada went on to hold the new championship a record two times.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is a Japanese professional wrestler, sports executive and podcaster. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he serves as the president and representative director of the promotion, and is also an active wrestler.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, his accolades in NJPW include a record setting eight reigns as IWGP Heavyweight Champion, a record three reigns as IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion, two reigns as IWGP Intercontinental Champion, one reign as NJPW World Television Champion, three reigns as IWGP Tag Team Champion, one reign as NEVER Openweight Champion and six reigns as NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion. Shinsuke Nakamura is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand.
Nakamura is known for his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, with his first reign coming at the age of 23 years and 9 months; making Nakamura the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Allen Neal Jones, better known by his ring name AJ Styles (also stylized as A.J. Styles), is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand. Styles has worked for the biggest promotions around the world and is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation. He is also known for his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA, now known as Impact Wrestling) from 2002–2014 and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) from 2014–2016. He debuted in 1998 and competed for various independent promotions before gaining initial mainstream exposure in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2001. Styles became widely known after signing with TNA, who described him as "the cornerstone of the company since [its] inception"; he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship three times, and was the inaugural titleholder of the X Division Championship, which he won six times. Tomohiro Ishii is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He also makes additional appearances for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of The Conglomeration stable. He is also known for his work with the independent Fighting World of Japan Pro Wrestling (Riki Pro) promotion, where he worked backstage as the chairman.
Though pushed for most of his career as an undercarder without any major championship wins, Ishii gathered a cult following, and in February 2013 was called "probably [one of the] most underrated guys in the business" by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Ishii's status in NJPW finally began rising in early 2013, culminating in him winning his first title in the promotion, the NEVER Openweight Championship, in February 2014, a title he would later win a record six times. He went on to capture the IWGP Tag Team Championship on one occasion, and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship three times.

Katsuyori Shibata is a Japanese semi-retired professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestling trainer. In professional wrestling, he is known for his hard-hitting offense. He is currently working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), though on indefinite hiatus due to injury. In New Japan, he is a former three-time NEVER Openweight Champion, one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the 2017 New Japan Cup. Hirooki Goto is a Japanese professional wrestler. Tetsuya Naito is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion in his record-tying second reign and is the leader of the Los Ingobernables de Japón stable.
Naito began training for a professional wrestling career in 2000, initially under Animal Hamaguchi before joining NJPW in 2004, where he underwent further training. He is a former NEVER Openweight Champion, and a former IWGP Tag Team and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with former No Limit partner Yujiro Takahashi. He also had a short reign as IWGP Tag Team Champion with Sanada. Regarded as one of the most popular and greatest wrestlers in NJPW history, Tokyo Sports awarded Naito with the MVP Award, the publication's highest honor, in 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2023. In 2020, Naito became the first person to hold both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships at the same time, accomplishing that feat twice, becoming a three-time IWGP Heavyweight and record six-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion. Alipate Aloisio Leone, better known by his ring name Tama Tonga, is a Tongan professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand as a member of The Bloodline. He is the nephew and adopted son of professional wrestler Haku.
From 2010 to 2024 he was in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he was a founding member of Bullet Club alongside Bad Luck Fale, Karl Anderson and Prince Devitt. He was also a founding member of Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.) alongside his brother Tanga Loa. The Guerrillas of Destiny won the IWGP Tag Team Championship seven times, the 2020 edition of the World Tag League tournament and, due to the collaboration between NJPW and Ring of Honor, the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

Yujiro Takahashi is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a member of Bullet Club and its sub-group House of Torture. Takahashi entered New Japan in November 2003 with an extensive amateur background, advancing through the dojo and debuting on July 26, 2004, under his full name. He later shortened his name to Yujiro. From 2007 to 2008 he was a member of the stable Samurai Gym with El Samurai and Ryusuke Taguchi, which ended when Samurai left the company. In 2010, he joined Chaos, where he was a one-time IWGP Tag Team and Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with Tetsuya Naito, with whom he teamed as No Limit. In 2014, Takahashi defected to Bullet Club, becoming the first non-gaijin member to join the stable. As a member of Bullet Club, he is a one-time NEVER Openweight Champion and a three-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion. During his time in Chaos, he had a "ladies' man" gimmick, which was carried on in Bullet Club. He is referred to as the "Tokyo Pimp" and is often accompanied to the ring by go-go dancer, the "Tokyo Latina" Pieter. Formerly affiliated with The Elite, as of September 2021, he is a member of the sub-group House of Torture.

Kyle Greenwood is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor better known by the ring name Kyle O'Reilly. He is also known for working in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2009 to 2017, and WWE (where he performed on their NXT brand) from 2017 to 2021, using the same ring name in both companies. Matthew Joseph Korklan, better known by the ring name Matt Sydal, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Prior to signing with AEW, Sydal wrestled in WWE as Evan Bourne, and was a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion, with Kofi Kingston. Sydal is also known for his time in Impact Wrestling where he is a former Impact Grand Champion and Impact X Division Champion, and in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a former ROH World Tag Team Champion. He has also wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and a one-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion.
Korklan has also wrestled on the independent circuit, for promotions including NWA Midwest, IWA-Mid South,, winning both singles and tag team championships. He also wrestled for the short-lived Wrestling Society X . Beginning in 2005, he wrestled for Dragon Gate in Japan, and won the Open the Brave Gate Championship in early 2007.

Trevor Dean Mann, known by his ring name Ricochet, is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as of August 2024. He previously wrestled in WWE from 2018 to 2024, where he won the WWE Intercontinental, United States, and NXT North American Championships, and was the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
Outside of WWE, Mann is best known for his tenure with various Japanese promotions such as Dragon Gate (DG) and its American branch Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA), DDT Pro-Wrestling's umbrella brand CyberFight, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). In DG and DGUSA, he held the Open the Brave, Dream, Triangle, Twin, and Freedom Gate Championships, and also won the 2013 King of Gate. Mann also wrestled as Prince Puma for American promotion Lucha Underground, where he was the inaugural and first-ever two-time Lucha Underground Champion. He is also known for his tenure with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) from 2010 to 2018, where he is a former PWG World Champion, and the only two-time Battle of Los Angeles (BOLA) winner, winning the 2014 and 2017 tournaments. Mann also worked for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based Chikara promotion, working under a mask as Helios.
Gregory "Greg" Marasciulo is an American professional wrestler, currently working on the independent circuit under the ring names Trent? and Trent Baretta. He is best known by his work in WWE under the ring name Trent Barreta. He was one half of the Dude Busters with Caylen Croft, before Croft was released from his WWE contract. Marasciulo also wrestled for the New York Wrestling Connection as Plazma and used to work in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in drag as The Girl from Mexico. He was best known for his time with his brother Mark Briscoe as the Briscoe Brothers in Ring of Honor, where he was a two-time ROH World Champion, ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion, and record 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. Other championships held by Briscoe over his career include the Impact World Tag Team Championship and IWGP Tag Team Championship. He was inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame in 2022.
