A successful wedding planner is trying to make dreams come true for brides by organizing fairy tale weddings. But when she is paired with a financial advisor at a wedding expo, she soon realizes that he is giving the exact opposite advice to their audience by telling them to save their money. When they are forced to spend a lot of time together, they find out that they have more in common than they think.

She is best known for playing Carmen Cortez in Spy Kids film series and Shilo Wallace in the movie Repo! the Genetic Opera. Gatien was born in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. She is of half German descent on her dad's side. She began performing at the age of four. She trained for a number of years in dance and musical theater. She was discovered at a model/talent convention and had a number of opportunities in Asia.
In 2009, Gatien played Mia Dearden in two episodes of Smallville. Her other television credits include Supernatural, Bionic Woman, Eureka, The Guard, and roles in the films In the Land of Women and Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief.
