From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Chris Mulkey (born May 3, 1948) is an American actor who most recently appeared in Cloverfield, the NBC TV movie Knight Rider, and as a corporate executive in season 7 of 24. He has also played a coach in four episodes of Friday Night Lights, and appeared in numerous TV shows and movies as far back the mid 1970s, such as Baretta and early '90s cult classic Twin Peaks. Finally, he is well known to fans of the Wing Commander franchise as Col. Jacob "Hawk" Manley. In the science fiction action film The Hidden, he portrayed a man named Jack, who is possessed by the parasitic alien antagonist in the beginning of the movie. Mulkey was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin and is married to actress Karen Landry. He is known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1997 to 1999, where he performed under the ring name Kurrgan and was a member of The Truth Commission and The Oddities. Edward X. Young studied film & television production, acting, and journalism at Seton Hall University; acting and stage directing at Brookdale College; business administration at Monmouth University; and film production at New York University. He honed his acting skills as a member of the R.I.S.K. Improvisational Theatre Group under the tutelage of Fabir Rodriguez-Ammirato. As a young actor, he performed on-stage in the New York Metropolitan Area in productions of "Amadeus," "Dracula," "Children of a Lesser God," "True West," "The Boys Next Door," and "Modigliani." He also worked in the theater as a director, staging productions of "Waiting for Godot," "Hurlyburly," "Lunchtime," and "Wait Until Dark." While a part of the Downtown New York City art scene in the late 1970s through the early 1990s, he became heavily involved in punk music, befriending members of Johnny Thunders' band The Heartbreakers, Walter Lure's band The Waldos, and Church Pills. Ed then joined the Greenville Shakespeare Festival, of Greenville, New Hampshire. In 2007, Young relocated back to the New York metro area, where he joined the Celtic Theatre Company in residence at Seton Hall University, his alma mater. His recent film work as an actor is focused on genre horror features. He has also worked on numerous experimental film and video projects as director, writer, editor, animator, and make-up special effects artist. Early collaborative efforts include numerous short film subjects produced in partnership with Daniel Acon.
Conrad Brooks was born as Conrad Biedrzycki on January 3, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of Polish immigrants, with a baker father, and had seven brothers and sisters. At seventeen, along with his brothers Henry and Ted, he went to Hollywood, California. Brooks first encountered legendary Grade-Z filmmaker Ed Wood in a donut shop. Conrad first collaborated with Wood on the fifteen minute short movie "Range Revenge." Brooks had three roles in Wood's "Glen or Glenda." He achieved his greatest enduring cult popularity as Patrolman Jamie in "Plan 9 from Outer Space." Conrad briefly popped up in the uproariously awful cheapie clunker "The Beast of Yucca Flats."
