Saoirse Una Ronan (born April 12, 1994) is an American-born Irish actress. Primarily known for her work in period dramas since adolescence, she has received various accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards and five British Academy Film Awards. Ronan made her acting debut in 2003 on the Irish medical drama series The Clinic and her film debut in I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007). She had her breakthrough role as a precocious teenager in Joe Wright's Atonement (2007), which earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Cynthia Ellen Nixon (born April 9, 1966) is an American actress, activist, and theater director. For her portrayal of Miranda Hobbes in the HBO series Sex and the City (1998–2004), she won the 2004 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She reprised the role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), as well as the television show And Just Like That... (2021–present). Her other film credits include Amadeus (1984), James White (2015), and playing Emily Dickinson in A Quiet Passion (2016). Nixon made her Broadway debut in the 1980 revival of The Philadelphia Story. She lost in the Democratic primary to Cuomo on September 13, 2018, with 34% of the vote to his 66%. David Warshofsky (born David Warner) is an American actor. The aspiring actor studied in New York City at NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and reverted to his family's Russian surname upon joining the theatrical performer's union The Actor's Equity. His talent for finding the heart of even the most minor characters first surfaced in 1989's Last Exit to Brooklyn, which he followed with a string of appearances on everything from the gadget-happy sitcom Home Improvement (ABC, 1991-99), to the medical drama Chicago Hope (CBS, 1994-2000). Many of his film roles showcased his signature mix of everyman amiability and stoic intensity: there's the Navy SEAL instructor in G.I. Jane (1997); low-key cop in The Bone Collector (1999); greedy oil executive in There Will Be Blood (2007); and longtime CIA agent in the Taken trilogy. Rosalind Chao is an American actress of Chinese heritage. Chao's most notable roles are as South Korean refugee Soon-Lee Klinger on CBS' AfterMASH, as Keiko O'Brien on both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Dr. Kim on The O.C., Rose Hsu Jordan in The Joy Luck Club (1993), and Hua Li, Mulan’s mother, in the live-action version of Mulan (2020). Chao is married to voice actor Simon Templeman; they have 2 children. She began acting at the age of five in a California-based Peking opera traveling company at the instigation of her parents who were already heavily involved, and during the summers they sent her to Taiwan to further develop her acting skills. As a child, she played the daughter of a laundry owner (played by James Hong) on the 1970 episode of Here's Lucy entitled "Lucy the Laundress". For some time, Chao worked at Disneyland as an international tour guide. Harold Thomas Wright is an American television and theatre actor. Wright has appeared in over 40 stage productions on and off Broadway. He began his acting career as an original member of The People's Light and Theater Company outside of Philadelphia. Wright also spent four years at the National Playwrights Conference and two summers at the Sundance Institute. On Broadway, he performed in A Taste of Honey which received two Tony Award nominations. Some of the notable theaters in which he has appeared include the American Place Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, New York Theater Workshop, Actors Theater of Louisville, Center Stage, Yale Repertory Theater, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Hartford Stage, Los Angeles Stage and Film, and Theatre De La Jeune Lune in Minneapolis starring in Farthest From The Sun with Steve Guttenberg. In 1987, he played a hitchhiker in the horror film Creepshow 2. Wright co-starred in the feature films Barbershop and Barbershop 2: Back in Business with Ice Cube. He also co-starred with Angela Bassett as her ex-lover in Sunshine State, his fifth film with writer/director John Sayles. The other four Sayles films include: Passion Fish, City of Hope, Matewan and The Brother from Another Planet. Since then he co-starred in another Sayles feature, Honeydripper. In 2000, Wright won the Best Actor Award at the Santa Monica Film Festival for his portrayal of John Shed in the indie film Dumbarton Bridge.
