Thomas William Hiddleston (born 9 February 1981) is an English actor. He gained international fame portraying Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), beginning with Thor in 2011 and including the Disney+ series Loki since 2021.
Hiddleston started his film career with Joanna Hogg's films Unrelated (2007) and Archipelago (2010). In 2011, Hiddleston portrayed F. Scott Fitzgerald in Woody Allen's romantic comedy Midnight in Paris and appeared in Steven Spielberg's War Horse. That year, he was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award. He continued working with auteurs in independent films, including Terence Davies' drama The Deep Blue Sea (2012), Jim Jarmusch's vampire film Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), and Guillermo del Toro's horror film Crimson Peak (2015). Sienna Rosie Diana Miller (born December 28, 1981) is an American-born English actress. Born in New York City and raised in London, she began her career as a photography model, appearing in the pages of Italian Vogue and for the 2003 Pirelli calendar. Luke George Evans (born 15 April 1979) is a Welsh actor. James Purefoy (born 3 June 1964) is an English actor. He played Marc Antony in the HBO series Rome, college professor turned serial killer Joe Carroll in the series The Following, and Solomon Kane in the film of the same name. In February 2018 he starred as Laurens Bancroft in Altered Carbon, a Netflix original series.
He played James McCarthy, a young man accused of murdering his father, in "The Boscombe Valley Mystery," in Granada's The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes. One of his notable roles was as Nicholas Jenkins in the eight-part miniseries A Dance to the Music of Time for Channel 4 in 1997.
