Searching for a happy ending to a tale of unimaginable disaster and horror, nine strangers find themselves holed up together in a farmhouse cellar in rural Texas. He is a two-time Saturn Award nominee, winning the 1992 Best Performance by a Younger Actor award for his performance in Terminator 2. He also won the 1992 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for his work in the film.
Royo was born in the Bronx, New York of African American and Cuban heritage. He attended Mount Saint Michael Academy in The Bronx from 1982 - 1986 at the same time as Sean Combs.
