Geoffrey Roy Rush AC (born 6 July 1951) is an Australian actor. He is known for his eccentric leading man roles on stage and screen. He is among 24 people who have won the Triple Crown of Acting, having received an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Tony Award. He also received three British Academy Film Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Rush is the founding president of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts and was named the 2012 Australian of the Year.

Marie-Sophie Nélisse (born March 27, 2000) is a Canadian actress. She is known for her Genie Award–winning performance in Monsieur Lazhar and for her portrayal of Liesel Meminger in the film adaptation of the novel The Book Thief. Nélisse was born in Windsor, Ontario, but moved to Montréal, Québec, with her family when she was four. She is of French Canadian descent. Besides her Genie Award for Monsieur Lazhar, she won a Jutra Award for her performance and a Young Artist Award nomination as Best Leading Young Actress in an International Feature Film. She also had roles in the film Ésimésac and in a Québec sitcom called Les Parent. Her sister is actress Isabelle Nélisse.

Ben Schnetzer is an American actor. He is the son of actors Stephen Schnetzer and Nancy Snyder. Schnetzer was born and raised in New York City. He is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In 2010, Schnetzer appeared in an episode of Law & Order and co-starred on the series Happy Town. He played Max Vandenburg in the film adaptation of The Book Thief (2013).
Makatsch was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, the daughter of former German national ice hockey team goaltender Rainer Makatsch. She spent several months in New Mexico in 1988 in an effort to improve her English, and later studied politics and sociology at the University of Düsseldorf for four semesters, which was followed by an apprenticeship as a dressmaker until 1994. Her television career started in 1993, when she was hired by music channel VIVA, hosting shows such as Interaktiv and Heikes Hausbesuche; two years later, on August 13 1995, she became the host of the German chart show BRAVO TV, aired by RTL II, a position she kept until summer 1996. In 1997 she started hosting her own weekly, late night show titled Heike Makatsch Show. However, due to bad ratings, it was cancelled after only eight episodes. Makatsch first appeared in a movie in 1996, when she starred in Detlev Buck's Männerpension (English: "Jailbirds"); she received the Bavarian Film Award as most talented young actor for her performance. After graduating from high school, Rainer Bock ran a café in his hometown, which also had a cabaret programme. After studying acting at a private acting school in Kiel, he made his debut as a theater actor on the stages of the state capital of Kiel in 1982. He came to Heidelberg and the National Theater Mannheim via the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater. From 1995 to 2001 he had an engagement at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. Until 2011 he was engaged at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. Bock often appears in supporting roles, including his initially rare appearances in film and television. The part of the doctor in Michael Haneke's award-winning drama The White Ribbon - A German Children's Story (2009) earned him a nomination for the German Film Prize. In 2011 he was represented at the Berlinale with four films. Bock is also active as an audio book speaker.
