Gillian Jacobs (born October 19, 1982) is an American film, theatre and television actress, best known for her role as Britta Perry on the NBC comedy series Community.
Jacobs was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Martina Magenau Jacobs, was a Carnegie Mellon University director of alumni relations at the Heinz College. Her father, William F. Jacobs Jr., was an investment banker.She was raised in the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon. She is of French, German, Irish, and Scottish descent. Her family owned the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery, established in 1847 in Erie, Pennsylvania, where her grandfather, John Martin Magenau Jr., served as President and CEO until its closure in 1978.
Jacobs began studying acting at the age of eight, and attended acting classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She performed with the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she was a perennial contender in the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest, leading her to be cast as Titania in its production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. After graduating from Mt. Lebanon High School in 2000, Jacobs moved to New York City, New York to attend the Juilliard School, where she was a member of the Drama Division's Group 33. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2004.

Elizabeth Jean Philipps (born June 25, 1979), known professionally as Busy Philipps, is an American film actress, perhaps best known for her supporting roles on the television series Freaks and Geeks and Dawson's Creek. She has also performed significant roles in films like The Smokers (2000), as Karen Carter, the drama film Home Room (2002) as Alicia Browning, she appeared in White Chicks (2004), played a supporting role in Made of Honor (2008) and appeared in He's Just Not That Into You (2009), starring Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore. Robin Swoboda (born December 30, 1958) is an American television news anchor, talk show host, and actress in Cleveland, Ohio, best known for her career on various television and radio stations primarily in Cleveland, as well as hosting national television programs.
Michael Cipiti hails from The Land, Cleveland, and got his start professionally at the historic Cleveland Play House. He is of Italian descent, with roots in the boot.
Open to portraying a variety of roles, Cipiti still enjoys using his olive oil voice and guinea charm, which he has displayed in Gotti (Carlo Gambino) with John Travolta and Stacy Keach, Chicago Overcoat (Freddy Falzone) with Frank Vincent, The Sugar Wars, a documentary based on Cleveland mob boss Angelo Lonardo, among others.
Michael has also had the pleasure of working on some national commercial spots with LeBron James.
In his spare time Michael is passionate about fitness, and spends a lot of time on the water kayaking.
