Christopher Charles Corbould, OBE (/ˈkɔːrboʊld/; born 1958) is a British special effects coordinator best known for his work on major blockbuster films and the action scenes on 15 James Bond films since The Spy Who Loved Me. He has also worked extensively on the Superman and Batman film series on digital effects and stunts. Corbould has been awarded two honorary doctorates from Southampton Solent University in December 2009 and the University of Hertfordshire in 2011. In 2011, he won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 83rd Academy Awards for his work on Inception. He is the brother of special effects supervisors Neil Corbould and Paul Corbould. In March 2011, Corbould went on trial for breaching health and safety regulations regarding the death of stunt technician Conway Wickliffe during production of The Dark Knight in 2007. He was found not guilty, with the incident ruled as an accident. Corbould was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to film. In 2015, Corbould was credited with Guinness World Records for the "largest stunt explosion" ever in cinematic history for Spectre. George Cottle is a highly competent second unit director and stunt coordinator who has gained recognition in the business for his work on successful films such as Barbie (2023), Oppenheimer (2023), and Tenet (2020). Nathan Crowley (born 28 February 1966) is an English production designer and a former art director, who is best known for his collaborations with Christopher Nolan. He was nominated six times for an Academy Award for Best Production Design for The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), First Man (2018), and Tenet (2020). For The Prestige, he was nominated with set decorator Julie Ochipinti; for The Dark Knight, he was nominated with set decorator Peter Lando; for Interstellar and Dunkirk, he was nominated with set decorator Gary Fettis; and for First Man and Tenet, he was nominated with set decorator Kathy Lucas. Crowley was also nominated five times for the BAFTA Award for Best Production Design for Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), Dunkirk (2017), and First Man (2018). Crowley grew up in Islington, North London. His father and grandfather were both architects. Crowley attended Leighton Park School. Joel T. Schumacher (August 29, 1939 – June 22, 2020) was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and costume designer. He was raised in New York City by his mother and suffered from substance abuse at a young age. He became a fashion designer after graduating from Parsons School of Design, but would continue suffering from substance abuse and high levels of debt until the early 1970s. He first entered film-making as a production and costume designer before gaining writing credits on Car Wash, Sparkle, and The Wiz. He received little attention for his initial theatrically released films, The Incredible Shrinking Woman and D.C. Cab, but rose to prominence after directing St. Elmo's Fire (1985), The Lost Boys (1987), and The Client (1994). Schumacher was selected to replace Tim Burton as director of the Batman franchise and oversaw Batman Foreve (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997). After the Batman franchise Schumacher directed smaller-budgeted films, including Tigerland (2000) and Phone Booth (2002). He directed The Phantom of the Opera, which was released to mixed reviews in 2004. His final directorial work was for two episodes of House of Cards (2013).
