Michelle Ang is a New Zealand actress. She is best known for her role as Lori Lee in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, and for voicing the female Jango Fett clone Omega in the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Matt Whelan (born 1985) is a New Zealand actor and comedian known for his roles as Brad Caulfield in the New Zealand television comedy-drama programme Go Girls. He has also played Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in the Amazon Original series American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story. Whelan plays DEA agent Van Ness in the Netflix original series Narcos.
Cheng Pei-pei (December 4, 1946–July 17, 2024) was an actress best known for her performance in the seminal 1966 King Hu wuxia film Come Drink with Me. It made her a contender for one of the first female action star. She continued to play expert swordswomen in a number of films throughout the 1960s. In 2000, she returned to international attention with her role as Jade Fox in Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. She followed this up with her portrayal of Long Po in the 2004 television miniseries Watery Moon, Hollow Sky, which was shown on Asian-American television as Paradise. She worked for Zhouyi Media in mainland China.
Kenneth Tsang Kong (5 October 1935 – 27 April 2022) was a Hong Kong actor. Tsang's career spanned 50 years and included a variety of acting roles. Tsang won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015. Tsang was born in Hong Kong with family roots in Zhongshan, Guangdong. He attended high school in Texas, U.S. and received a degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. He returned to Hong Kong in the early 1960s but was bored by the work. His older sister, Jeanette Lin Tsui was a film star at the time and provided Tsang with several connections in the industry which boosted his acting career. In the media, Lin Tsui was always presented as Tsang's younger sister instead as it was moreover uncommon for female stars to reveal their age. Tsang's film debut was in the movie The Feud (1955), when he was just 16, which was followed by a role in Who Isn't Romantic? (1956). In the mid 1960s, Tsang starred in detective films and classic kung fu movies with (at the time) Hong Kong teen idols Connie Chan Po-chu and Josephine Siao. Tsang also appeared in a few Wong Fei-Hung movies in the late 1960s. In the 1986, Tsang worked as taxi cab owner, Ken, in John Woo's A Better Tomorrow. Subsequent collaborations with Woo included the role of Ken in A Better Tomorrow 2 in 1987, police officer Danny Lee's murdered partner in The Killer in 1989, and the strict adoptive father of Chow Yun-fat, Leslie Cheung and Cherie Chung in Once a Thief in 1991. Tsang also filmed several Singaporean Chinese dramas during the 1990s, one of his most notable works there was the 1995 epic The Teochew Family and The Unbeatables II. Up to this point, Tsang had played roles in mainly Hong Kong movies. His first Hollywood film was The Replacement Killers (1998), also the Hollywood debut of co-star Chow Yun-fat. Tsang appeared alongside Chow once again in Anna and the King as well as Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 2. Tsang played General Moon in the James Bond film Die Another Day (2002), and he continued to appear in films from his native Hong Kong. Todd Justin Emerson was born on March 24, 1984 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is an actor, known for The World's Fastest Indian (2005), Amazing Extraordinary Friends (2006) and Westside (2015).
Josh Thomson is a Timaru born idiot from sturdy South Island and even sturdier Tongan Island Stock. He studied Theatre and Film at the University of Otago and now has a useless Bachelor of Arts somewhere at his parent's house. Josh arrived in Auckland to do stand up comedy and appeared in a couple of "Pulp Comedy's", but took up acting because actors get lunch, and most of the time they don't have to pay for it. He's graced the small screen in some iconic commercials and several TV series that no one watched such as "Terry Teo", "Hounds", "Coverband", the voice of the tubby ginger kid in "Barefoot Bandits" and in his first feature film lead role as Gary in Gary of the Pacific. Josh continues to work as an actor, MC and comedian when he is not doing his new job, appearing as an idiot on the daily news show "The Project". He's toured with NZ's best comedians from "7 Days" doing stand up and the 7 Days:Live show the length of the country. In demand for his MC skills he's hosted the NZ Film Awards, the 48 Hour Film awards, various corporate events and even guest spots at the NZ Music awards. He still loves working behind the scenes as a director, writer, editor and whatever else he can do to pay for the new floor in the laundry since he broke the last one when he tried to fix it himself.
Gareth Yuen is an Australian actor who portrays the character Dax Lo, the Blue Ranger on the 2007 television series Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive. He appeared at the Power Morphicon in June 2007. He is a graduate of Sydney's National Institute of Dramatic Art.
