Bernadette Peters (born February 28, 1948) is an American actress, singer, and children's book author. Over a career spanning five decades, she has starred in musical theatre, television and film, performed in solo concerts and released recordings. She is a critically acclaimed Broadway performer, having received seven nominations for Tony Awards, winning two (plus an honorary award), and nine nominations for Drama Desk Awards, winning three. Four of the Broadway cast albums on which she has starred have won Grammy Awards.
Regarded by many as the foremost interpreter of the works of Stephen Sondheim, Peters is particularly noted for her roles on the Broadway stage, including in the musicals Mack and Mabel (1974), Sunday in the Park with George (1984), Song and Dance (1985), Into the Woods (1987), The Goodbye Girl (1993), Annie Get Your Gun (1999), Gypsy (2003), A Little Night Music (2010), Follies (2011), and Hello, Dolly! (2018).
Peters first performed on the stage as a child and then a teenaged actress in the 1960s, and in film and television in the 1970s. She was praised for this early work and for appearances on The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnett Show and in other television work, and for her roles in films including Silent Movie, The Jerk, Pennies from Heaven and Annie. In the 1980s, she returned to the theatre, where she became one of the best-known Broadway stars over the next three decades. She also has recorded six solo albums and several singles, as well as many cast albums, and performs regularly in her own solo concert act. Peters continues to act on stage, in films and on television in such series as Smash and Mozart in the Jungle. She has been nominated for three Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards, winning once.

Rachel Brosnahan (born July 12, 1990) is an American actress. She is best known for portraying an aspiring stand-up comedian in the Amazon Prime Video period comedy series The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018 and two consecutive Golden Globe Awards in 2018 and 2019.On television, she was Emmy-nominated for the political thriller series House of Cards (2013–2015) and acted in the drama series Manhattan (2014–2015). Brosnahan made her film debut in the horror film The Unborn (2009) and has acted in Beautiful Creatures (2013), Louder Than Bombs (2015), The Finest Hours (2016), Patriots Day (2016), Spies in Disguise (2019), The Courier (2020), and I'm Your Woman (2020).
On stage, she made her Broadway debut in the 2013 revival of the Clifford Odets play The Big Knife. She played Desdemona in the 2016 off-Broadway production of Othello and returned to Broadway in the 2023 revival of the Lorraine Hansberry play The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window.

Peter Friedman (born April 24, 1949) is an American stage, screen, and television actor. Born in New York City, Friedman graduated from Hofstra University before making his Broadway debut in The Great God Brown in 1972. Additional theatre credits include The Visit (1973), Piaf and A Soldier's Play (both 1981), The Heidi Chronicles (1989), Ragtime (1998), and Twelve Angry Men (2004). He has been nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, Outstanding Actor in a Play, and Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play. On television, Friedman starred as patriarch George Silver in Brooklyn Bridge, has made numerous guest appearances in such series as Miami Vice, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, and Damages, and had a featured role in Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder. Friedman's many feature film credits include Prince of the City, Daniel, The Seventh Sign, Single White Female, I'm Not Rappaport, I Shot Andy Warhol, Safe, Freedomland, The Savages, and I'm Not There. Friedman married actress Joan Allen in 1990. The couple divorced in 2002. They have one daughter, Sadie, born in March 1994.

Amelia Campbell (born August 4, 1965) is a Canadian-born, American-raised actress. She was born in Montreal but grew up in Ithaca, New York. A stage and film actress, she has appeared in such films as The Paper, My Louisiana Sky, Single White Female, and Lorenzo's Oil.

She graduated in 1978 and went on to study at The Theatre School at DePaul University. In 1993 she won the Clarence Derwent Award for her performance in the play Candida. She has appeared in television shows including House, The X-Files, Third Watch and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Films Dowd has appeared in include Lorenzo's Oil, Philadelphia, Apt Pupil, Garden State and Flags of Our Fathers.
