Jason Wayne Trost (born November 15, 1986) is an American director, actor, producer, special effects artist, and screenwriter. He has starred in all of the films that he has written and directed. He is best known for his work on the films The FP and Vs. Jason Trost either wears an eyepatch on his right eye or has his right eye covered in all of his movies and public appearances. He has stated that this is done out of necessity because he is blind in his right eye.

Whalen was born in Washington D.C. in 1964, the youngest of four children, he was raised in Silver Spring/Olney, Maryland. He attended Sherwood High School and graduated from UCLA. He worked as a waiter while studying and performing at The Groundlings Theater. He appeared in commercials and in 1991, his first film, The People Under the Stairs. Whalen may be best known for the first "Got Milk?" commercial, in which his character tries in vain, after taking a large bite of a peanut butter sandwich, to answer a radio host's question about the famous Burr-Hamilton duel. Whalen also starred in a DiGiorno pizza commercial, in which his character and a friend enjoy a Chicago-style pizza in Tucson, Arizona, as well as the short-lived 2001 television program, Special Unit 2. Whalen has appeared in several television shows, including The Suite Life of Zack and Cody as a radio station host, Hannah Montana as a worker at a Make A Moose store in a Moose Costume, Scrubs as an X-ray technician. He appeared in the film, The Last Day of Summer and as a ghost on a Wizards of Waverly Place episode called "Halloween". Whalen also played Neil, also known as "Frogurt", one of the plane crash survivors, in a mobisode and three episodes of Lost.

Brian Taylor is an American film director, cinematographer, camera operator, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for frequently collaborating with Mark Neveldine as Neveldine/Taylor. Taylor attended the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, California and began his career as a cinematographer, working on a series on independent films and low-budget shorts. In the early 2000s, Taylor united with Mark Neveldine, both becoming known for their engineering skills as cinematographers and camera operators. They invented "The Roller Dolly," and immediately submitted it for a patent.
