Xavier Samuel
Samuel was born in Hamilton, Victoria, the son of Maree and Clifford Samuel. He grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and graduated from Rostrevor College in 2001. He has a younger brother, Benedict, a writer, producer and actor, as well as an older sister, Bridget, a stage manager. Despite completing his senior secondary years at Rostrevor College, Samuel undertook final year drama at Christian Brothers College under the tutelage of Amanda Portus, where he played the part of Tom Snout (the wall) in Rostrevor College's production ofShakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream as well as playing "Belvile" in CBC's production of Aphra Behn's The Rover (The Banished Cavaliers). Xavier Samuel later attended Flinders University Drama Centre in 2005, where he studied under renowned acting teacher Professor Julie Holledge. He played Hamlet in the graduate production.
Brumpton has performed in over 60 short films including the 2006 Tropfest finalist - Silencer.
Last Ride and The Loved Ones screened in competition at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, where The Loved Ones won the Midnight Madness Audience Award. Brumpton portrays Eric Stone ("Daddy") in the Australian horror film The Loved Ones.[1]
Brumpton's second film in a leading role, Dance Me to My Song (1998) was screened in competition at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival.
His third film in a leading role, Redball (1999) won the Grand Jury Prize, at the 1999 Chicago Independent Film Festival.
McNamee secured a role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away playing the role of Lisa Duffy and later went on to star as Sammy Rafter in the television series Packed to the Rafters. In 2009, McNamee was a contestant on the ninth series of Dancing with the Stars. She was partnered with dancer Stefano Olivieri and they were eliminated before the final. The role of Sammy left McNamee keen to lose the "good girl" image the role created. In the series production breaks she decided to take on different roles. McNamee starred in the horror film The Loved Ones; which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2009.
Gulliver William McGrath (born August 15, 1998) is an Australian child actor. McGrath played Charlie in the Australian crime series Rush. He also starred as the title character in the Melbourne Theatre Company production Poor Boy alongside Guy Pearce and Abi Tucker. Recently, McGrath portrayed David Collins in the 2012 feature film Dark Shadows, which earned him a 2013 Young Artist Award nomination as Best Supporting Young Actor in a Feature Film. He portrayed Tad Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln (2012). Gulliver will be playing the teenage version of Jerry Hickfang in "The Voices". The Voices is currently filming. He was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He then moved to Birmingham, U.K, and was raised there. His mother, Heidi Chapman, is a neuroscientist, and his father, Craig, is an anaesthetist. He is the older brother of actors Zen and Winta McGrath.
