Mary Elle Fanning (born April 9, 1998) is an American actress. She made her film debut as the younger version of her sister Dakota Fanning's character in the drama film I Am Sam (2001). He made his cinematic acting debut at the age of twelve, playing Antoine in the 1994 film Cache cash, directed by Claude Pinoteau. In 1997, he played "Pierrot" in Roger Hanin's film Soleil, starring Sophia Loren, Philippe Noiret and Marianne Sägebrecht.
