Edward "Eddie" Regan Murphy (born April 3, 1961) is an American actor, voice actor, film director, producer, comedian, and singer.
He is the second-highest grossing actor in motion picture history. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984, and has worked as a stand-up comedian. He was ranked #10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time. He has received Golden Globe Award nominations for Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year - Actor for his performance in 48 Hrs and best actor in a comedy or musical for his performances in Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places, and The Nutty Professor. In 2007, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of soul singer James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls, and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the same role. Murphy's work as a voice actor includes Thurgood Stubbs in The PJs, Donkey in the Shrek series and the dragon Mushu in Disney's Mulan. In some of his films, he plays multiple roles in addition to his main character, intended as a tribute to one of his idols Peter Sellers, who played multiple roles in Dr. Strangelove and elsewhere. Murphy has played multiple roles in Coming to America, Wes Craven's Vampire In Brooklyn, the Nutty Professor films (where he played the title role in two incarnations, plus his father, brother, mother, and grandmother), Bowfinger, and 2007's Norbit.

Nicole Ari Parker Kodjoe (born October 7, 1970) is an American actress and model.
Early in her career she appeared in several critically-acclaimed independent films including The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995), Boogie Nights (1997), 200 Cigarettes (1999), and the 1999 Sundance Film Festival winner The Adventures of Sebastian Cole.

Antwan DeRay Davis is an American stand-up comedian and actor best known for his role as Ray-Ray the Hustle Guy in Barbershop and Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Davis has also appeared in other films, including Semi-Pro (2008) and 21 Jump Street. His television roles and appearances include programs BET's ComicView, MTV's Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out and 'Short Circuitz, and HBO's Entourage.
He began his career in comedy clubs and shortly after moving to Los Angeles, he won the Comedy Central Laugh Riots Competition and was a standout on the Cedric the Entertainer Tour. Vanessa Estelle Williams (sometimes professionally credited as Vanessa A. Williams) is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her roles as Maxine Joseph–Chadway in the Showtime drama series, Soul Food (2000–04), for which she received NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series, and as Rhonda Blair in the first season of the Fox prime time soap opera, Melrose Place (1992–93). She is also known as Nino Brown's feisty gun moll, Keisha in the 1991 crime drama film, New Jack City and as Anne-Marie McCoy in the first and fourth of the Candyman films.
Though not related, she is sometimes confused with American actress, singer, and former Miss America 1984, Vanessa L. Williams. Marin Elizabeth Hinkle (born March 23, 1966) is an American actress. She was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to American parents who met in the Peace Corps. Among many television and movie roles, she is best known for playing Judy Brooks on the ABC television drama Once and Again, Judith Harper-Melnick on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, and Rose Weissman on the comedy-drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime Video. For her role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Hinkle was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2019 and 2020.

Tonita Castro (January 8, 1953 – May 8, 2016) was a Mexican-born American actress from Jalisco, Mexico. Coming to the United States from Mexico in the late 1970s, Castro initially sought to become a teacher before securing a job at Radio Express. She'd go on to work there for over 20 years.
Castro made the transfer to screen acting in 2005 in an appearance on the crime drama The Shield. She'd go on to make guest appearances in series like Glee, Little Britain USA, The Sarah Silverman Program, The Travelers, Two and a Half Men, Kroll Show, and Life in Pieces. Castro was a recurring cast member in the TV series "Go On" starring Matthew Perry in 2012-2013. In 2013, she was part of the main cast for the short lived sitcom Dads, which was executive produced by Seth MacFarlane. In film, Castro made appearances in Imagine That, Funny People, Our Family Wedding, Bad Ass, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Book of Life, and In God's Time.
During her stint on Life in Pieces, Castro began feeling ill, and was eventually diagnosed with stomach cancer. She died from the disease on May 8, 2016.
