David Neilson
David Neilson is an English actor best known for portraying cafe owner Roy Cropper in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 1995 onwards. In a break from the show in 2016, Neilson starred in a stage production of Samuel Beckett's Endgame at Home in Manchester. Prior to taking up the role of Roy Cropper, Neilson appeared in several TV shows including Boys from The Blackstuff, Resnick, Secret Army, Once Upon a Time in the North, Blue Heaven, Bergerac, Casualty and EastEnders, and in the Mike Leigh films Life is Sweet and Secrets and Lies.
Julie was born in Accrington, Lancashire in February 1970. A woman with a strong social conscience, she originally wanted to be a social worker. She was an amateur actress with the Oswaldtwistle Players and studied A-level Theatre Studies at Accrington and Rossendale College. Fate took a turn when she took an audition for drama school to be with her friends. It landed her a place at LAMDA, where she studied from 1988-1991. After graduating she set up her own theatre company, Arts Threshold, with a group of friends in Paddington, taking time out for TV roles in The Bill, the Catherine Cookson drama The Dwelling Place, a care home worker in Victoria Wood's comedy film Pat and Margaret and, just prior to Coronation Street, as an animal rights protestor in Dalziel & Pascoe. She was spotted by the casting crew for "Coronation Street" whilst playing in "Much Ado About Nothing" in the Royal Exchange theatre in Manchester, playing the dual roles of a maid and a night watchman!
Born in Leeds, Steve Huison is a British actor of TV, theatre and film. He is best known for playing Lomper in the 1997 hit movie The Full Monty and for playing Eddie Windass in Coronation Street. He appeared in the Ken Loach film the Navigators and the Mike Leigh film Peterloo, and starred in Victoria Wood's sitcom Dinnerladies. He is the co-founder of the Shoestring Theatre Company and an artist who exhibits regularly.

John Henshaw (born 1951, Ancoats, Manchester) is a British actor famed for his roles as Ken the landlord in Early Doors, Wilf Bradshaw in Born and Bred and PC Roy Bramwell in The Cops.
Henshaw was born one of 12 children. He grew up in Ancoats, Manchester's "Little Italy" community. He was a refuse collector for ten years before deciding to become an actor at the age of 40.
His first big break in acting was as a minder to Robert Lindsay's character Michael Murray in the acclaimed Channel 4 series, G.B.H. Other TV credits include The Royle Family, The Visit, Life on Mars, whilst film credits include the Steve Coogan comedy The Parole Officer, the Bert Trautmann biopic The Keeper, and the Ken Loach films Looking For Eric and The Angels' Share. Henshaw is chairman of the 24:7 Theatre Festival, an annual festival of new writing for theatre based in Manchester.

Siobhan married actor Mark Jordon in 1997 and they have two children,Joseph and Poppy. The couple divorced in 2014.
