Born in Fremantle, Western Australia, he started appearing in various TV shows from the age of 12. He received a scholarship to study acting at John Curtin College of the Arts and was accepted into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts straight out of high school. He was nominated for an Australian Film Institute Award for his lead performance in Jewboy, a film that screened in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival and the Discovery Section at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2007 he was invited to join the Sydney Theatre Company Actor's Company where he played Prince Hal in War of the Roses opposite Cate Blanchett. He received a Helpmann Award and a Sydney Theatre Award for this performance. His other STC credits include Riflemind which was directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Josef K in an adaption of The Trial. In 2010 he played Richard III for the Melbourne Theatre Company. Laura Gordon is an Australian actress. She was nominated for the 2020 AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in Undertow (2018). Other major roles include films Em 4 Jay (2008)[3] and Face to Face (2011) and TV shows Winners & Losers, Hunters and Secret City: Under the Eagle. Gordon was a member of the Red Stitch Theatre actors' co-operative.
Victoria Haralabidou (Greek: Βικτώρια Χαραλαμπίδου, born 23 October 1971), is a Greek actress. She was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia; her father was a Pontic Greek from Trabzon, while her mother was born in Tashkent to Greek refugees. When she was 15 years old, her family moved to Athens, Greece, but she returned to Russia to study at the Institute of Cinematography in Moscow and then got back to study at the Greek Drama School in Athens. In 2005, she moved to Sydney, Australia, where she currently lives. Her acting credits include Dear Elena, a contemporary Russian play by Liudmila Razumovskaya (Best Actress award 2001), Curse of the Starving Class by Sam Shepard, A Bright Shining Sun (Best Actress Award – Short Film Festival 2000), and a feature film Nyfes (Best Actress Award – Thessaloniki Film Festival 2005), a Martin Scorsese production which was released in Australia by Palace Cinemas in September 2005.
