Lance Valenteen (David Boreanaz) makes a living as "Mr. Fix It," a man who gets hired by men that have just recently been dumped by their girlfriend. Lance dates the guys' ex-girlfriend and becomes the worst date possible, sending the girl back into her ex-boyfriends arms. But when Lance gets hired by Bill Smith (Pat Healy) to get Sophia Fiori (Alana De La Garza) back, Lance, for the first time, starts falling for one of his marks.

David Boreanaz (born May 16, 1969, height 6' 1" (1,85 m)) is an American actor, television producer, and director, known for his role as Angel on the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and as Special Agent Seeley Booth on the television crime drama Bones.
Alana De La Garza (born June 18, 1976) is an American actress. She was born in Columbus, Ohio and later relocated to Texas, ultimately attending the University of Texas. After college, she moved to Orlando, Florida, landing roles in a number of independent films as well as commercials. Her work took her to New York, where she studied extensively under renowned acting instructor JoAnna Beckson.
After getting her break as Rosa Santos on the daytime drama All My Children (1970), Alana moved to Los Angeles, a slew of guest spots followed. One of the most recognizable was her role as a con artist on the hit show Las Vegas (2003), followed by a series lead on the WB's The Mountain (2004). She starred in the romantic comedy Mr. Fix It (2006) opposite David Boreanaz and appeared on several episodes of CSI: Miami (2002).
She joined the cast of Law & Order (1990) in June 2006 for several seasons and the moved to Law & Order: LA. She went on to star in the TV series Do No Harm (2013), Forever (2014), and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (2016).
In 2019, she landed a major role on the TV series FBI and has appeared in several crossover episodes of its' spinoff series FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
She also narrated the true-crime series The FBI: Declassified (2020).
John Marcus "Scoot" McNairy (born November 11, 1977) is an American actor and film producer. He is known for his roles in films such as Monsters (2010), Argo, Killing Them Softly (both 2012), 12 Years a Slave (2013), Gone Girl (2014), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (2022), Speak No Evil, and Nightbitch (both 2024).
On television, McNairy starred as Gordon Clark in the AMC period drama Halt and Catch Fire (2014–2017), Bill McNue in the Netflix miniseries Godless (2017), Walt Breslin on Netflix's Narcos: Mexico (2018–2021), Tom Purcell on the third season of True Detective (2019), and Rod Rosenstein in the Showtime miniseries The Comey Rule (2020). His accolades include an Independent Spirit Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
