Paul Higgins is a Scottish actor, best known for appearing in the British television series The Thick of It, Utopia and Line of Duty.
Higgins was born in Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was raised as a Roman Catholic, but now he considers himself a lapsed Catholic. As a teenager, he trained to be a priest, but gave his training up aged 17 when he began dating.
Higgins has appeared onstage in Paul and Black Watch, and in the film Complicity. He played Alan in Staying Alive, a hospital drama on ITV. He has also played Jamie McDonald, an aggressive press officer, in the BBC show The Thick of It and its spin-off feature-length film, In the Loop. In 2009, he appeared as Gil Cameron on the BBC drama Hope Springs. He played Michael Dugdale in Channel 4's acclaimed conspiracy thriller Utopia. In 2013 he appeared in series 1 of the BBC series Line of Duty and returned for season 4 in 2017. He wrote a play titled Nobody Will Ever Forgive Us, which was performed at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh in a co-production with the National Theatre of Scotland in November 2008.

Michelle Duncan (born 14 April 1978) is a Scottish actress. She was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland Award for her performance in Sea of Souls.
Born in Perth, Duncan trained in acting at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh before studying English and Classics at St Andrew's University. She moved to London in February 2005.
Her roles on TV include Sugar Rush, Doctor Who, "Low Winter Sun", "Lost in Austen", and a TV film, Whatever Love Means, as Princess Diana. She has also appeared in such films as Atonement, The Broken and Driving Lessons, and she co-starred in the award-winning 2006 British short film Sucking Is A Fine Quality In Women And Vacuum Cleaners. On stage she has appeared in plays such as Time and the Conways (on UK tour) and A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Burning at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
In 2007 she was cast as Portia in The Merchant of Venice at Shakespeare's Globe, but was unable to continue after the previews and was replaced by Kirsty Besterman.
She now works at Forest School, Snaresbrook, as a Drama and English Teacher. She is also a form tutor of Franklin house.

He is famous for Ancient Greece-based films 300, in which he played the Captain, Troy, where he played Eudorus, Achilles' second in command, and Clash of the Titans, in which he played King Cepheus. McGrady was born in Federal Way, Washington, to Gloria, a hair salon owner, and George McGrady, an airline mechanic. He attended Federal Way High School and the University of Washington, majoring in Business Administration. He currently splits his time between Southern California and Washington State, with his wife Ilka. McGrady had planned to become a lawyer and was working at a bank when his sister entered him in a contest for a scholarship to a local acting school. After that McGrady moved to California to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
