André Benjamin, also known as André 3000, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and actor, best known for being part of American hip-hop duo OutKast alongside fellow rapper Big Boi. As an actor, his role as Jimi Hendrix in Jimi: All is by my Side (2013) got him an Independent Spirit Awards nomination for Best Lead Actor. He has made appearances in a number of TV series and films, including Families, The Shield, Be Cool, Revolver, Semi-Pro, and Four Brothers.
Antwan André Patton (born February 1, 1975), better known by his stage name Big Boi, is an American rapper, song-writer, record producer and actor, best known for being a member of American hip hop duo OutKast alongside André 3000. His work in the duo has produced six studio albums. During the duo's hiatus, he and André 3000 each announced plans to release a solo album. Big Boi's solo debut Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was released in July 2010 to respectable sales and critical acclaim.

She's known for her roles as Daniella Hernandez on BET’s film Sacrifice and its' subsequent series, Brea in Traffik, Laura Price on ABC's series Somewhere Between, Garona Halforcen in Warcraft, Alison in the 2014 remake of About Last Night, Deb Rees in 2 Guns, Jane Carter in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Morgan Alexander in Just Wright, Blu Rain in Precious, Claire Kuchever in Déjà Vu, Angel in Idlewild, and Mandy in Hitch.
In 1991, at age 15, she met recording artist Robin Thicke, who was then 14, at an under-21 hip-hop club called Balistyx (co-founded and co-hosted by David Faustino) on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, when he asked her to dance. According to Thicke, he sang Stevie Wonder's "Jungle Fever" to her as they danced. The couple did not begin dating until 1993 and married on June 11, 2005. She gave birth to their son, Julian Fuego, on April 6, 2010. They announced their separation on February 24, 2014, after 21 years together and almost nine years of marriage. On October 8, 2014, she officially filed for divorce and joint custody of their son. The divorce was finalized on March 20, 2015.
Terrence Dashon Howard (born March 11, 1969) is an American actor. Having his first major roles in the 1995 films Dead Presidents and Mr. Holland's Opus, Howard broke into the mainstream with a succession of television and cinema roles between 2004 and 2006. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Hustle & Flow.
Howard has had prominent roles in many other movies, including Winnie Mandela, Ray, Lackawanna Blues, Crash, Four Brothers, Big Momma's House, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Idlewild, Biker Boyz, August Rush, The Brave One, and Prisoners. Faizon Andre Love (born Langston Faizon Santisima; June 14, 1968) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his roles in the comedy films The Meteor Man, Don't Be a Menace, Friday, B*A*P*S, Elf, The Replacements, Made, Mr Bones, and Couples Retreat, as well as the voice of Sean "Sweet" Johnson in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and his role as Wendell Wilcox on The Parent 'Hood.
He got his start as a stand-up comedian and made his acting debut Off-Broadway at the age of nineteen. His motion picture debut, Bebe's Kids had him providing the voice of late comedian Robin Harris. He then had a role in The Meteor Man starring Robert Townsend. Townsend then cast Love in a co-starring role on his sitcom The Parent 'Hood. He followed up this role with a breakout performance as the drug dealer Big Worm in the 1995 film Friday.
Follow-up films have included Elf, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Money Talks, Wonderland, The Fighting Temptations, and Idlewild. Love gained wider appeal when he co-starred in the 2009 film, Couples Retreat, a comedy chronicling four couples who partake in therapy sessions at a tropical island resort. His most recent role is that of Kurtis Kool in 2011’s Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son. Many gamers may also know him for his role as Sean "Sweet" Johnson, simply known as Sweet, in the Rockstar North game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Patricia Louise Holte (born May 24, 1944), known professionally as Patti LaBelle, is an American R&B singer and actress. She has been referred to as the "Godmother of Soul". In a career which has spanned seven decades, LaBelle has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. She has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame, and the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame. She was included in Rolling Stone on their list of 100 Greatest Singers.
She began her career in the early 1960s as lead singer and frontwoman of the vocal group Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles. After the group's name change to Labelle in the 1970s, they released the popular number-one hit "Lady Marmalade". As a result, after the group split in 1976, she began a successful solo career, starting with her critically acclaimed debut album, which included the career-defining song, "You Are My Friend". She became a mainstream solo star in 1984 following the success of the singles "If Only You Knew", "Love, Need and Want You" (later sampled for 2002's "Dilemma"), "New Attitude" and "Stir It Up". Less than two years later in 1986, she scored a number-one album Winner in You and its number-one duet single, "On My Own", with Michael McDonald.
She won a 1992 Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her 1991 album Burnin', an album that featured "Somebody Loves You Baby (You Know Who It Is)", "Feels Like Another One", and "When You've Been Blessed (Feels Like Heaven)". She has also seen success launching her own brand of bedding, cookbooks, and food for various companies. In 2015 her Patti's Sweet Potato Pie sold millions when a YouTube video praising the product went viral. As a result, over a 72-hour period, Walmart sold one pie every second.
Around 1964, LaBelle was engaged to Otis Williams, founding member of The Temptations. The engagement lasted a year before Patti broke it off after fearing Williams would force her to move to Detroit and retire from the road.
On July 23, 1969, she married a longtime friend, Armstead Edwards, who was a schoolteacher. After she started her solo career, Edwards became her manager, a position he would remain in until 2000. That year, she and Edwards legally separated, with their divorce finalized in 2003. They have a son, Zuri Kye Edwards (born July 17, 1973), who is now her manager.
She said that because of her sisters and parents dying "before their time", she wrote in her autobiography that she feared she would not make it to 50.

Acknowledged as one of the city's finest stage actresses, she also had a number of film credits, including Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and "Fried Green Tomatoes."

William G. "Bill" Nunn III (October 20, 1953 – September 24, 2016) was an American actor. Nunn made his acting debut in the 1988 Spike Lee film School Daze, and is perhaps best known for his roles as Radio Raheem in Lee's Do the Right Thing and as Nino Brown's verbally challenged bodyguard Duh Duh Duh Man in New Jack City.
Some of his other film credits include Lee's Mo' Better Blues and He Got Game, as well as Regarding Henry, Sister Act, Canadian Bacon, The Last Seduction, Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead, New Jack City, Runaway Jury, Spider-Man trilogy (as Joseph "Robbie" Robertson), Firehouse Dog, the television series The Job, Randy and The Mob, and A Raisin in the Sun, adapted for TV.
