His ascent to fame picked up when he became a writer for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later became a frequent guest on The Tonight Show. In the 1970s, he performed his offbeat, absurdist comedy routines before packed houses on national tours. Clyde Kusatsu (born September 13, 1948) is a U.S. actor.
Kusatsu was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he attended ʻIolani School. Kusatsu began acting in Honolulu summer stock, and after studying theatre at Northwestern University, started to make his mark on the small screen in the mid-1970s. Usually mustachioed, with a dapper, professional air, he has most often played doctors, but his repertoire has included a generous sampling of teachers (usually college professors), businessmen, detectives, church ministers and other intelligent, middle-class types. With his quiet, wry line delivery, Kusatsu made a memorably clever and hilarious sparring partner for Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor) on several episodes of All in the Family as the Reverend Chong, refusing to baptize Archie's grandson without the permission of the boy's parents. During this period Kusatsu also worked with the Asian American theatre group East West Players in Los Angeles.
Kusatsu was subsequently a regular on several series, but neither the adventure Bring 'Em Back Alive (1982–83) nor the Hawaiian-set medical drama Island Son (1989–90) (in which he played one of Richard Chamberlain's colleagues) lasted very long. His many television movies have included the film adaptation of Farewell to Manzanar (1976), about Japanese American internment during World War II. Other M.O.W.s and mini-series have been "And The Sea Will Tell", and "American Tragedy" playing Judge Lance Ito. He had a memorable role in the "Baa Baa Black Sheep" episode "Prisoners of War" as a downed Japanese fighter pilot in the Pacific (1976). (Kusatsu also guest-starred on an episode of Lou Grant on Japanese internment in the U.S.); Golden Land (1988), a Hollywood-set drama based on a William Faulkner story; and the AIDS drama And the Band Played On (1993). He appeared in four M*A*S*H episodes and later starred in the short-lived A.B.C. series All American Girl (1994–1995), the first East Asian familiar sitcom in the U.S.
Feature roles, beginning with Midway (1976), have generally been small, but in the 1990s Kusatsu had roles in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993, as a history teacher) and In the Line of Fire (1993, as a Secret Service agent). He appeared as a high school English teacher in American Pie (1999). Other recent films have been "ShopGirl" as Mr. Agasa, and in Sydney Pollack's The Interpreter (2005) as Lee Wu, head of security for the United Nations Headquarters. He currently plays the recurring role of Dr. Dennis Okamura on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Kusatsu starred in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) as Mr. Lee.
Kusatsu is married to Gayle Kusatsu; they have two sons, Kevin and Andrew.

Rachel Emily Nichols (born January 8, 1980 height 5' 10" (1,78 m) ) is an American actress and model. Nichols began modeling while attending Columbia University in New York City in the late 1990s. Her first major role was in the comedy film Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003). She had the main role in the crime drama television series The Inside (2005), though it was cancelled after one season. Nichols gained recognition playing Rachel Gibson in the final season of the serial action television series Alias (2005–2006) and for her role in the horror film The Amityville Horror (2005). Nichols' first starring film role was in the horror–thriller P2 (2007). She had a supporting role in the coming-of-age film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) and appeared in Star Trek (2009). She starred in the action film G.I. Emily Keiko Kuroda (born October 30, 1952) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Mrs. Kim on TV's Gilmore Girls, but she has had a long career on stage and screen and is a veteran of East West Players, Los Angeles's premier Asian American theater group.
While the industry was breaking down all around her, Dana Schick was busy making a movie. Serving as lead actress and executive producer on the quarantine-inspired film, The Death of Us, this lady wasn't about to let a pandemic get her down.
Classically trained, Dana has also played roles in plays from Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde, and has appeared in numerous movies and daytime and primetime TV shows. You may have seen her in Manifest and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.
Dana began her acting education in the best way possible, on a scholarship with the world-renowned Lee Strasberg Film & Theatrical Institute at just 13 years of age. She blossomed into a talented performer right before Hollywood's finest, as acting greats Robert De Nero and Al Pacino would stop by to catch a glimpse of the next generation of talent.
Later, Dana continued to build on her craft by training with the great teachers of her profession in Howard Fine, Ivanna Chubbuck, and Margie Haber.
While acting remains her no. 1 passion, Dana's resume also features several stunt performances on productions such as 2001's Planet of the Apes and 2014's Swelter.
Dana's artistic ambitions revealed themselves at an early age. At just seven years old, she expressed her creative talents through music, when impressing her friends and family with her violin and flute performances. However, it wasn't until she joined a performing art school at 13 that her acting and dance talents emerged, and a future star was born.
Thanks to her perceived good looks, Dana's earlier years saw her became a high-fashion and runway model, with her resume including a photo shoot with the esteemed David LaChapelle. So while she can kick ass, don't worry...you can be damn sure she's going to look good doing it.
When Dana commits to a project, she really commits. Make no mistake...she's in this business for the long haul. That focus and discipline may have something to do with the fact that her paternal roots lie in the military. The German blood she inherited from her father's side may help with that too.
Dana even manages to find a little time for herself on occasion. When she does, she enjoys reading, photography, learning, traveling, and getting lost on the Internet.
Dana looks forward to fulfilling her EGOT ambitions, performing alongside the likes of Glenn Close and Johnny Depp along the way.
