One day in Europe shows stories set in four European countries. All of them involve thievery in some way or the other. The protagonists are strangers in the respective country. For none of them their stay turns out as planned.

Megan Gay (born 1967) is an actress from New Zealand. From 1986 to 1988, she studied English and German at the University of Auckland before getting her education as an actress at the City Literary Institute in London from 1988 to 1993. She has appeared in plays as well as in films, such as Berlin Calling, Aeon Flux or One Day in Europe. She lives in Berlin. She is a fluent speaker of German.

In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute, in 1991 - the evening department of the Institute of Foreign Languages. In 1990 he graduated from the acting department of the Higher Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin (course of Lyudmila Stavskaya). Since 1990 he has been an actor at the Lenkom Theater. Taylan graduated in theatre from Hacettepe University State Conservatory. He is best known for his role as Iskender in the hit surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun and other films.
Between 1989 and 1993, he worked at the Diyarbakir State Theatre. In 1993 and 1994, he worked with Roberto Ciulli at the Theatre an Der Ruhr in Germany. Taylan has since worked in many theatrical projects with Yücel Erten. He became General Secretary of the Devlet Tiyatrolari Sanatcilari Dernegi or DETIS (State Theatre Artists' Association) and served in the position until he resigned in 2006. In 2002, he won the Ismet Küntay award for Best Director for the play Misafir Sahneleyisi.
