Discovered by the late casting director Mali Finn, (Titanic/The Matrix), who found Anna Paquin and Keisha Castle-Hughes, Elle Peterson starred in the acclaimed Warner Bros. drama " North Country", alongside Academy Award winners Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand, Sissy Spacek, Woody Harrelson, Academy Award nominee Richard Jenkins and Sean Bean, directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider).
Elle played Charlize's young daughter, Karen Aimes. Ms. Theron and Ms. McDormand received Academy Award nominations for their roles in the movie.

She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and nominations for four British Academy Film Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Grammy Award. Spacek was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
Born and raised in Texas, she initially aspired to a career as a recording artist. In 1968, at age 18, she recorded a single, "John, You Went Too Far This Time," under the name Rainbo. She began her professional acting career in the early 1970s, making her debut as an extra in Andy Warhol's Women in Revolt (1971). Chris Mulkey (born May 3, 1948) is an American actor who most recently appeared in Cloverfield, the NBC TV movie Knight Rider, and as a corporate executive in season 7 of 24. He has also played a coach in four episodes of Friday Night Lights, and appeared in numerous TV shows and movies as far back the mid 1970s, such as Baretta and early '90s cult classic Twin Peaks. Finally, he is well known to fans of the Wing Commander franchise as Col. Jacob "Hawk" Manley. In the science fiction action film The Hidden, he portrayed a man named Jack, who is possessed by the parasitic alien antagonist in the beginning of the movie.
Mulkey was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin and is married to actress Karen Landry.

John Aylward (November 7, 1946 – May 16, 2022) was an American actor.
He is perhaps best known for playing the former DNC chairman Barry Goodwin on the NBC television series The West Wing and for playing Dr. Donald Anspaugh on the NBC television series ER. He also supplied his voice for Dr. Arne Magnusson in Half-Life 2: Episode Two.
Aylward was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He attended St. Joseph's Grade school and went on to Prep High School, but graduated from Garfield High School in 1965. He graduated from the Professional Actor's Training Program at the University of Washington in 1970. He was one of the founders, in 1973, of Seattle's Empty Space Theatre, and he worked regularly as a company member of the Seattle Repertory Theatre for 15 years until he became a television and film actor in the 1990s. Carol Flynt, co-producer of ER, first offered him an audition after seeing him in a 1996 production of "Psychopathia Sexualis" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.
