After a series of fruitless relationships, an innocent young woman ventures out yet again into the cruel world of desperate assholes, the social wasteland known as Hollywood, California. On a blind date, hoping to find Mr. Right, she ends up finding Mr. Dramatic, a lonely man afflicted by the bitter pain of living in his own world. Together, these two seemingly pathetic souls discover that someone perfect could really be out there for each of them. Unfortunately, all Hell must break loose in a filthy meat market for this understanding to take hold. It isn't pretty, but neither is dating in LA.

Alana De La Garza (born June 18, 1976) is an American actress. She was born in Columbus, Ohio and later relocated to Texas, ultimately attending the University of Texas. After college, she moved to Orlando, Florida, landing roles in a number of independent films as well as commercials. Her work took her to New York, where she studied extensively under renowned acting instructor JoAnna Beckson.
After getting her break as Rosa Santos on the daytime drama All My Children (1970), Alana moved to Los Angeles, a slew of guest spots followed. One of the most recognizable was her role as a con artist on the hit show Las Vegas (2003), followed by a series lead on the WB's The Mountain (2004). She transitioned into television and film acting in the early 2000s; she had a bit part in the romantic drama film Autumn in New York (2000) and a one-episode role in the fourth season of the hit show Sex and the City (2002). Her first major role was in the comedy film Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003). She had the main role in the crime drama television series The Inside (2005), though it was cancelled after one season. Nichols gained recognition playing Rachel Gibson in the final season of the serial action television series Alias (2005–2006) and for her role in the horror film The Amityville Horror (2005). Nichols' first starring film role was in the horror–thriller P2 (2007). She had a supporting role in the coming-of-age film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) and appeared in Star Trek (2009). She starred in the action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and in the sword and sorcery film Conan the Barbarian (2011).
