John Joseph Feild (born 1978), better known as JJ Feild, is a British American film, television, and theatre actor. He started his television career in 1999. Feild played Fred Garland in Philip Pullman's The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow in the North television adaptations. In 2007, he starred as Henry Tilney in the television film Northanger Abbey. The following year, he made his West End debut in a production of Ring Round the Moon. From 2014 to 2016, Feild portrayed Major John André in Turn: Washington's Spies. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Scot Williams (born 29 November 1972), is an English actor, writer and producer for stage, film and television. As an actor, Williams made his film debut in the 1994 Iain Softley film Backbeat, in which he played the role of The Beatle's original drummer Pete Best. Subsequently he later discovered that he was a distant relative of the late Alun Owen, who in 1964 received an academy award nomination for his Beatles screenplay "A Hard Day's Night". In 1995 Williams played the lead role of Shaun Caine in the Jonathan Harvey play Rupert Street Lonely Hearts Club. The play premiered at London's Donmar Warehouse before later transferring to The Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly. In 1996 he was given the role of Joe Glover in the powerful television drama Hillsborough. Written by the legendary Jimmy McGovern, Hillsborough was based on the football stadium disaster of 1989 in which 96 Liverpool Football Club supporters unlawfully died and directed by the BAFTA and Emmy winning Charles McDougall. It went on to win dozens of awards around the world, including the 1997 Best Single drama BAFTA award. In 1999 he played the role of 'Buddy' alongside Lisa Stansfield, Rita Tushingham and Alexei Sayle in the musical "comedy" Swing as well as the part of 'Patrick Callaghan' a one legged heroin addicted informer in the gritty crime "drama" Liverpool One. On playing a one-legged herion addict Scot said "it was a role I was destined to play". 2003/04 saw Williams feature in a trilogy of films written and directed by Peter Greenaway, called The Tulse Luper Suitcases. The first of which "The Moab Story" was an official selection for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. As well as a return to the stage in Chris Honer's award winning production of the Arthur Miller classic "All My Sons" at Manchester's Library Theatre. In 2005 Scot played the lead role of the American Art authenticator 'Patrick Donovan', alongside Rutger Hauer and Malcolm McDowell in the Venetian set thriller "Tempesta" and also co-starred with Jesse Bradford, Sienna Guillory and Steven Berkoff in the horror film "Perfect Life" In 2009 he starred in "Clubbed" alongside Colin Salmon and Maxine Peake, playing the iconic bleached blonde lunatic 'Sparky'. In Adrian Vitoria's 'The Crew' an adaptation of Kevin Sampson's novel "Outlaws" Scot played the lead role of 'Ged Brennen', a Liverpool gangster coming to terms with the changing face of crime. 2009 also saw Scot play the lead role of ex-Irish priest 'Sheamy O'Brien' in Maeve Murphy's "Beyond The Fire" alongside Cara Seymour. The film respectfully examined the loving relationship between two victims of sexual abuse and went on to win Best Film at the 2009 London Independent Film Awards. As well as this, Scot also popped up in the British gangster flick "Dead Man Running" alongside Tamer Hassan, Brenda Blethyn and 50 Cent. After acting in several Dutch plays, movies, and television series, van Wageningen was asked to come to Hollywood to appear in Steven Spielberg's Minority Report. Due to problems with his visa, he was unable to work on that movie in the United States. However, he has been acting in American movies ever since. His breakthrough hit was with his role in The Chronicles of Riddick, which earned him much praise by lead actor Vin Diesel. He has starred opposite Amanda Burton, Vin Diesel, Angelina Jolie, Judi Dench, Colin Farrell, Christian Bale, Christopher Plummer and Clive Owen. After he went to the United States he did not appear in any Dutch film until his return in 2008, starring in Oorlogswinter (Winter in Wartime), based on a famous Dutch children's book about World War II. Pickup was born in Chester, England, the son of Daisy (née Williams) and Eric Pickup, who was a lecturer.[1] Pickup was educated at The King's School, Chester, trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, and became an Associate Member of RADA. His television work began with an episode during the second series of Doctor Who in 1964, for which he was paid £30. Pickup worked with Laurence Olivier at the Royal National Theatre, most notably in Three Sisters and Long Day's Journey Into Night. In 1973, he starred in the BBC drama series The Dragon's Opponent, playing a World War II bomb disposal expert and also appeared in The Day of the Jackal. He played Lt. Torrent's debut came in 1973 with the starring role as "Ana" in the film El espíritu de la colmena (The Spirit of the Beehive) directed by Víctor Erice, when she was seven years old. This was followed by another memorable role in which she played the lead character's younger self in Cría cuervos (Raise Ravens) (1976) by director Carlos Saura. In 1989 Torrent performed with Sharon Stone in the film Blood and Sand directed by Javier Elorrieta. In 1996 she received numerous awards and nominations, including a Goya Award nomination for her lead actress role in Alejandro Amenábar's film Tesis (Thesis). By the end of the 1990s, Torrent received critical acclaim when she played a Basque nationalist murdered for quitting ETA, in the film Yoyes (1999) directed by Helena Taberna. In 2008 Torrent portrayed Catherine of Aragon in the film The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), starring Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. Ornella Muti (born March 9, 1955) is an Italian actress. She was born in Rome as Francesca Romana Rivelli, to a Neapolitan father and Estonian mother. She has an older sister, Claudia (1951). Muti modeled as a teenager and made her film debut in 1970 in La moglie più bella (aka The Most Beautiful Wife). She has primarily worked in Italian films but she made her British film debut as Princess Aura in Flash Gordon in 1980. American movies she appeared in include Oscar (1991) and Once Upon a Crime (1992). She is mostly known to the French for appearing in a TV commercial of Giovanni Panzani pasta. Muti has been married twice, to Alessio Orano (her fellow actor in the film "The Most Beautiful Wife", 1975–1981), and Federico Facchinetti (1988–1996). Muti has three children: Naike Rivelli (b. 1974), who is also a model and actress having a close resemblance to her mother, and whose father is Spanish film producer José Luis Bermúdez de Castro Acaso; a son, Andrea, and a second daughter, Carolina, both from her marriage to Facchinetti. Anna Galiena (born 22 December 1954) is an Italian actress, best known to English-speaking audiences for her appearances in Le Mari de la coiffeuse, Jamón, jamón and Being Human. her youth, Galiena starred in numerous off and on-Broadway shows, including several revivals of Shakespeare plays. She had made over a dozen films, mainly in her native Italy before her role in Le Mari de la coiffeuse brought her to international attention. She went on to appear in Bigas Luna's Jamón, jamón and went on to make her mainstream Hollywood debut in the Bill Forsyth-directed Being Human starring Robin Williams. The film was, however, a massive flop. Since then, Galiena has worked in European cinema, where she is consistently in demand. With over 50 films and many television appearances to her credit, she currently has several films in production, including a prominent supporting role in the film Virgin Territory, starring Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton. Roger Rees (5 May 1944 – 10 July 2015) was a Welsh actor and director, widely known for his stage work. He won an Olivier Award and a Tony Award for his performance as the lead in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. He also received Obie Awards for his role in The End of the Day and as co-director of Peter and the Starcatcher. Franka Potente is a German film actress and singer. She was born on July 22, 1974 in Münster North Rhine-Westphalia and raised in nearby Dülmen. She first appeared in the comedy After Five in the Forest Primeval (1995) and gained critical recognition in the action thriller Lola rennt (released in English as Run Lola Run) (1998). Potente received Germany's highest film and television awards for her performances in Run Lola Run and Opernball. After half a decade of critically acclaimed roles in German films, Potente gained Hollywood's attention by playing the role of Barbara Buckley in Blow (2001) and the female lead with Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity (2002).
