Three friends, whose lives have been drifting apart, reunite for the funeral of a fourth childhood friend. When looking through their childhood belongings, they discover a trunk which contained details on a quest their friend was attempting. It revealed that he was hot on the trail of the $200,000 that went missing with airplane hijacker D.B. Cooper in 1971. They decide to continue his journey, but do not understand the dangers they will soon encounter.

Seth Benjamin Green (né Gesshel-Green; born February 8, 1974) is an American actor. His film debut came with a role in the comedy-drama film The Hotel New Hampshire (1984), and he went on to have supporting roles in comedy films throughout the 1980s, including Radio Days (1987) and Big Business (1988).
During the 1990s and 2000s, Green began starring in comedy films such as Idle Hands (1999), Rat Race (2001), Without a Paddle (2004), and Be Cool (2005). He also became known for his portrayal of Scott Evil, Dr. Evil's son, in the Austin Powers film series (1997–2002). Green has also taken serious roles in films, including The Attic Expeditions (2001) and Party Monster (2003). He has provided the voice for Howard the Duck in a number of Marvel Cinematic Universe films and series, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) and in the animated series What If...? (2021–present). In 2019, he wrote, directed, and starred in the comedy-drama film Changeland.
Green's first lead role on television was on the ABC sitcom Good & Evil in 1991, for which he won a Young Artist Award. Green later gained attention for his supporting roles as Oz, a teenage guitarist and the boyfriend of Willow Rosenberg, on the fantasy television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2000), and as the voice of Chris Griffin on the Fox adult animated comedy series Family Guy (1999–present). He also voiced Leonardo in the Nickelodeon animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014–2017) and the Joker in the Mass Effect video game series (2007–2012). Green created, directed, wrote, and produced the adult animated comedy series Robot Chicken and its spinoffs (2005–present), which have earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards and five Annie Awards.

Matthew Lyn Lillard (born January 24, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, director, and producer. His early film work includes Chip Sutphin in Serial Mom (1994), Emmanuel "Cereal Killer" Goldstein in Hackers (1995), Stu Macher in Scream (1996), Stevo in SLC Punk! (1998), Brock Hudson in She's All That (1999), and Billy Brubaker in Summer Catch (2001). He played Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo (2002) and its sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), and in animation, he has been the voice of Shaggy since Casey Kasem retired from the role in 2009.
Lillard's later film roles include Jerry Conlaine in Without a Paddle (2004), Dez Howard in The Groomsmen (2006), Joey in Home Run Showdown (2012), and Jack Rusoe in Return to Nim's Island (2013). While much of his work is comedic in nature, Lillard has also given dramatic performances in movies such as The Descendants (2011), Trouble with the Curve (2012), Match (2014), and Twin Peaks: The Return (2017). He made his directorial debut with the coming-of-age drama Fat Kid Rules the World (2012). From 2018 to 2021, Lillard also starred as Dean Boland in the television series Good Girls.

Dax Randall Shepard (born January 2, 1975) is an American actor.Shepard was an actor on Punk'd with Ashton Kutcher. In 2006, Shepard appeared opposite Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson in the comedy Employee of the Month as well as the Mike Judge film Idiocracy. During the same time, Shepard began appearing in more films and landed his first main character role in Let's Go to Prison, alongside Will Arnett. He also had a major role in Baby Mama. Shepard wrote the script for the Paramount venture Get 'Em Wet, in which he again appeared with Arnett. He was also in the 2010 movie When in Rome. He is now one of the main characters in the NBC show Parenthood, playing Crosby Braverman.

Rachel Elise Blanchard (born March 19, 1976) is a Canadian actress. Her work has included playing Nancy in the British sitcom Peep Show, Emma in American comedy-drama series You Me Her, and most recently, Susannah in the American television series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Blanchard's career was launched with a part in a McDonald's commercial, and as an eight-year-old on the Canadian children's show The Kids of Degrassi Street, in which she played Melanie Schlegel. Bonnie was raised by her mother, and her mother's large Irish Catholic family in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Her mother is one of 9 children! Bonnie started acting and singing at a young age, appearing in all the high school plays at Poly Prep Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She attended Boston College as a Musical Theater major, and left to move back home to New York to try acting professionally. Bonnie sang in many bands in the NYC music scene, and had a development deal to sing her own music at 17 years old. She was noticed by a modeling scout while waiting tables in NYC, and did some modeling in New York, and Europe, only to return more focused on acting. She packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles at age 22, very quickly had a band and then an agent. One of her first auditions, after getting an agent, was for the lead role in CBS's mini-series, Amours et rock'n' roll (1999), in which she also sang. She now lives in Los Angeles.
