Michael Christopher Sheen (born 5 February 1969) is a Welsh actor and political activist. After training at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), he worked mainly in theatre throughout the 1990s and made notable stage appearances in Romeo and Juliet (1992), Don't Fool With Love (1993), Peer Gynt (1994), The Seagull (1995), The Homecoming (1997), and Henry V (1997). His performances in Amadeus at the Old Vic and Look Back in Anger at the National Theatre were nominated for Olivier Awards in 1998 and 1999, respectively. In 2003, he was nominated for a third Olivier Award for his performance in Caligula at the Donmar Warehouse. He has become better known as a screen actor since the 2000s through his roles in various biographical films. He has starred in a trilogy of films as British politician Tony Blair: the television film The Deal (2003), followed by The Queen (2006) and The Special Relationship (2010). For the role, he was nominated for both a BAFTA Award and an Emmy. He was also nominated for a BAFTA as the troubled comic actor Kenneth Williams in BBC Four's 2006 Fantabulosa!, and was nominated for a fourth Olivier Award in 2006 for portraying the broadcaster David Frost in Frost/Nixon. He starred as the controversial football manager Brian Clough in The Damned United (2009). In 2009, he appeared in two fantasy films, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. He also appeared in the science-fiction film Tron: Legacy (2010), and Midnight in Paris (2011). He directed and starred in National Theatre Wales's The Passion (2011). He also played a lead role in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 2012. In 2013, he received a Golden Globe nomination for his role in Showtime's television drama Masters of Sex (2013–2016). He played an incarcerated serial killer surgeon in Fox's 2019 drama, Prodigal Son, an angel in the 2019 BBC/Amazon Studios miniseries Good Omens, and appeared as Chris Tarrant in Quiz in 2020. Charlotte Anne Ritchie (born 29 August 1989) is an English actress and singer-songwriter. She is famous for her roles in the TV series Fresh Meat (2011–2016), Siblings (2014–2016) and Call the Midwife (2015–2018) and for her lead role in Benny and Jolene (2013). She is currently starring in BBC's Ghosts (2019–) as Alison. In 2004, she played a lead in a short film entitled The Open Doors with Michael Sheen. She appeared as an uncredited extra in the 2005 film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She also featured in The Pierglass at the Young Pleasance Theatre in August 2006 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She was a presenter on Boomerang and performed with All Angels in an episode of Emmerdale. She also played Emily Owen, a neighbour in the BBC's Life of Riley. From 2011 to 2016, she portrayed Oregon in the Channel 4 comedy series Fresh Meat. She stars in Siblings which was first broadcast in summer 2014 and she appeared as a guest panellist in the same year on 8 Out of 10 Cats. In 2015, she joined the cast of popular period drama Call The Midwife. In 2016, she appeared in the UK production of Noel Coward's Private Lives, playing the role of Sibyl Chase. On New Years Day 2019, she had the guest-starring role of Lin in the Doctor Who episode "Resolution". In 2019, she played Alison in Ghosts, a BBC sitcom, and Alison in Dead Pixels. She played the role of George in Channel 4 series Feel Good in 2020. Cherie Lunghi (born 4 April 1952) is an English film, television and theatre actress. She is probably best known for her role as Guinevere in the 1981 film Excalibur, as football manageress Gabriella Benson in the 1990s television series The Manageress and for starring in a series of adverts for Kenco coffee. She also competed in the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing. She is the mother of the actress Nathalie Lunghi.
