Susan Alexandra "Sigourney" Weaver (born October 8, 1949) is an American actress. Weaver is considered to be a pioneer of action heroines in science fiction films. She is known for her role as Ellen Ripley in the Alien franchise, which earned her an Academy Award nomination in 1986 and is often regarded as one of the most significant female protagonists in cinema history.
A seven-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Weaver won both Best Actress in Drama and Best Supporting Actress in 1988 for her work in the films Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl, becoming the first person to win two acting Golden Globes in the same year. She also received Academy Award nominations for both films. For her role in the film The Ice Storm (1997), she won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress ina Supporting Role. Jeffrey Warren "Jeff" Daniels (born February 19, 1955) is an American actor, musician and playwright. He founded a non-profit theatre company, the Purple Rose Theatre Company, in his home state of Michigan. He has performed in a number of stage productions, both on and off Broadway. He has been nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actor for the Broadway play God of Carnage (2009), along with his other three cast-mates.
He has had a thriving film career, from his debut in 1981 in Ragtime, through State of Play in 2009. For his film work, he has received three Golden Globe Award nominations, including as Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical for Woody Allen's The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985) (hence the name of his theatre company). He has also received nominations by the Screen Actors Guild, Satellite Awards, and several for his work in The Squid and the Whale (London Critics Circle Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, Chlotrudis Awards and Gotham Awards).

Michelle Ingrid Williams (born September 9, 1980) is an American actress. Known primarily for starring in small-scale independent films with dark or tragic themes, she has received various accolades, including two Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award, in addition to nominations for five Academy Awards and a Tony Award.
Williams, a daughter of politician and trader Larry R. Williams, began her career with television guest appearances and made her film debut in the family film Lassie in 1994. She gained emancipation from her parents at age fifteen, and soon achieved recognition for her leading role in the teen drama television series Dawson's Creek (1998–2003). Kevin Ian "Kip" Pardue (born September 23, 1975) is an American actor and model best known for his roles in the films Remember the Titans, Driven, The Rules of Attraction, and Thirteen. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Dunwoody High School in Atlanta. He qualified for the Honor Roll with a 3.6 GPA in junior high and was treasurer of the French Club during his freshman year of high school. The name "Kip" comes from the initials of his full name. After graduating from Yale University where he played football, he was discovered by Molly Ringwald's publicist. He has been a model for Armani, Polo, and Abercrombie & Fitch. He was named by Armani Exchange as one of the "Top 10 Upcoming Actors" in 2001.

At age 35, she was diagnosed with diabetes, and she suffered a stroke in 2005.
Rodrigo Lopresti (born September 6, 1976) is an American-Argentine actor, musician and film director who lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Rodrigo Lopresti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the youngest of two children. Lopresti grew up in Miami, Florida. He graduated Miami Beach Senior High in 1995. Lopresti became the singer and guitar player of a surf-punk band called Garlands Room in 1994. He released an album two years later under the name The Hermitt. He played most of the instruments in the 2003 release entitled & The Story of the Insects. Lopresti is also a painter.
