She is also credited as Elpedia Carrillo on some of her films. Carrillo was born in Parácuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. Perhaps her best acted role in Hollywood to date has been that of "Maria" in the 1986 movie Salvador, where she acted alongside James Woods. Arguably, though, her best known role would be as the survivor, Anna, in Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger and a cameo in Predator 2. In American cinema, she has also worked with Jimmy Smits and many other stars. Joaquin Garrido, born in Mexico City, started acting professionally at the age of 17. He studied for a degree in acting in Mexico and was awarded scholarships to train at Berliner Ensemble in Germany and at the British Theatre Institute in London. He has worked in many Mexican soap operas, and has also appeared more recently on episodic TV in the States.  Currently he has had roles in some 20 films, debuting in "Chido One" (1985), directed by  Alfonso Arau, and was honored with a Mexican Academy Award nomination (Ariel Award) for Best Supporting Actor in Bittersüße Schokolade (1992), also directed by 'Alfonso Arau'. His first film shot entirely in The United States was Demon Slayer (2002) (V), directed by 'James Cotten', and was a Roger Corman Film. He is a published poet and playwright, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA. To date he has toured Canada, America, South America and Europe.

​John Getz is a stage-trained American actor. Getz dropped out of college to attend the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. While working in a winery, he helped found the Theater Company in Napa County, California. His location in the grape-growing Napa Valley led to Getz's television debut in a made-for-television horror film Killer Bees. Killer Bees starred Gloria Swanson, Craig Stevens, Kate Jackson, and Edward Albert. Getz then moved to New York City, where he became active in local theater while doing an 18-month stint as Neil Johnson on the soap opera Another World. Getz appeared in The Happy Hooker and followed up with several other roles before starring in the Coen Brothers' neo-noir thriller Blood Simple. Getz also appeared in The Fly and The Fly II as Stathis Borans, a science magazine editor who pays a heavy price for his curiosity. Getz also had a role in Fincher's film The Social Network, about the founding of Facebook. He appeared in the suspense thriller Elevator as a Wall Street executive trapped in an elevator with a group of strangers, one of whom has a bomb. Written and produced by Marc Rosenberg and directed by Stig Svendsen, Elevator was released in July 2012. He appeared in Trumbo (2015) as director Sam Wood. Through the decades, Getz has guest-starred in many television series, including Barney Miller and Three's Company, where he played Lee Tripper, brother of Jack Tripper. He has guest-starred in How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, The King of Queens and Private Practice, and had recurring roles in Homeland, Timeless and Bosch. California born Rick Najera started his artistic career as an actor. He is an award-winning actor-writer-director-producer with credits in film, television, theatre and Broadway. Early in his career, he was inspired and mentored by Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg, Keenen Ivory Wayans and comedian Cheech Marin. Realizing there were few roles for him to play, he took matters into his own hands and started writing his way into Hollywood, and landed his first big writing gig on In Living Color. Rick Najera is one of three Latinos in the history of Broadway to write and star in his own show. Najera made his Broadway debut in 2005 with his award-winning sketch comedy show, Latinologues (TM), the longest running and only showcase of its kind for Latinos in America.
