Eddie Ogden is his pa's pride and joy as well as the Groundhogs team's only asset as baseball talent. Then Eddie discovers a taste and talent for cuisine. Although his brothers Andy and Alex, and Pa as well as classmates enjoy his dishes, they only mock cooking, so he arranges and 'accidental' registration for him and two friends in Home Economics. Only Eddie -secretly again- and nerdy shrew Bridget Simons enter a national cooking competition for school-kids. Ma finds out and to his surprise proves supportive, as well as the teacher, who once won the competition herself.

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in Roseland. Reiley McClendon first told his parents that he wanted to be an actor at the age of four. At six years old when he was still interested in acting his parents, Eric and Holly decided to allow and help Reiley to pursue his dream. After getting a local agent and working on some smaller projects Reiley's parents decided to try a pilot season in California. Reiley and his mother temporarily moved to Los Angeles for his first pilot season. By the end of this season his family decided to make the permanent move to California. After which, Reiley's career flourished. McClendon graduated Grace Brethren High School in June 2007. McClendon's favorite sports include cycling, golf, volleyball and baseball. He plays the drums, and is teaching himself to play the guitar.

Anthony Ray Parker (born May 13, 1958) is an American actor.
Parker was born in Saginaw, Michigan, United States, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. For years during the late 1990s and early 2000s, Parker settled in Auckland, New Zealand and had a prominent career on television in various shows as Suzanne Paul's sidekick. He appeared in the film The Matrix as the character Dozer. In 2006, Parker starred in John Cena's film The Marine. He also appeared in the horror film Dead Air.
He has filmed a number of television shows and movies in Australia and New Zealand, including Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur.

Nancy Lenehan (born April 26, 1953 in Long Island, New York) is an American actress who has appeared in film and television since the 1980s. Her most recent starring role was on the short-lived sitcom Worst Week. She also co-starred as Sandy Kelly, the matriarch in the sitcom Married to the Kellys. She also had a recurring role on My Name Is Earl as Earl and Randy's mother, Kay Hickey.
She has appeared in featured, recurring and guest roles in many television shows and television movies, and feature films, including Malcolm in the Middle, Everybody Loves Raymond, Judging Amy, Gilmore Girls, Caroline in the City, Dharma & Greg, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, 3rd Rock from the Sun, ER, Boy Meets World, The Nanny, Quantum Leap, Roseanne, V, The Facts of Life, Hill Street Blues and Alice.
