Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English model and actress who became known as a girlfriend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. In 1994, as Grant became the focus of worldwide media attention due to the global box office success of his film Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied him to the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunging black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins, which gained her instant media notice.
The highlight of Hurley's professional life has been her association with the cosmetics company Estée Lauder. The company gave Hurley her first modeling job at the age of 29 and has used her as a model for its products, especially perfumes such as Sensuous, Intuition, and Pleasures, since 1995. Her best known cinematic work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley currently models and designs an eponymous beachwear line.
Hurley was born as a middle child in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England, the daughter of Angela and Roy Hurley. Her Irish father was a Major in the British Army, while her Anglican mother was a teacher at Kempshott Infant School. She has an older sister, Kate, and a younger brother Michael James Hurley.
Hurley was a struggling actress in 1987, when she met Hugh Grant while working on a Spanish production called Remando Al Viento. While Hurley was his girlfriend, Grant was embroiled in an international scandal for soliciting the services of a female prostitute in 1995. Hurley stood by him and accompanied Grant to the premiere of his movie Nine Months. After 13 years together, Hurley and Grant announced an "amicable" split in May 2000. Hurley lived in a London home owned by Grant after the break-up. She invited Grant to her wedding in 2007, but he chose not to attend.
On 4 April 2002, Hurley gave birth to a son, Damian Charles Hurley. The baby's father, Steve Bing, denied paternity by alleging that he and Hurley had a brief, non-exclusive relationship in 2001. A DNA test, however, established Bing as the child's father. In late 2002, Hurley started dating Indian textile heir Arun Nayar, who runs a small software company since 1998. On 2 March 2007, Hurley and Nayar married at Sudeley Castle and then had a second wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.

John Lynch (born 26 December 1961) is an actor and novelist from Northern Ireland. He won the AFI (AACTA) Award for Best Actor for the 1995 film Angel Baby. His other film appearances include Cal (1984), The Secret Garden (1993), In the Name of the Father (1993), Sliding Doors (1998), The Fall (2013–2016), Medici (2019), The Head (2020), and The Banishing (2021).
Lynch has also written two novels, Torn Water (2005) and Falling Out of Heaven (2010).
Susannah Doyle (born July 5, 1966) is an English actress, best known for her roles as Joy Merryweather in Drop The Dead Donkey and as Avril Burke in Ballykissangel.
The daughter of the Irish actor Tony Doyle, she realised that she wished to follow in his footsteps when, aged about five or six, she was taken to see him work, often in tiny theatres with audience and actors close together. She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Her big TV break came in 1991 with the role of Joy, the intelligent, acid-tongued secretary and foil to her corporate-speak boss, in the Channel 4 comedy Drop The Dead Donkey. Other TV roles followed, including Minder in 1994, two episodes of Soldier, Soldier in 1996 and A Touch of Frost in 1997.
When her father died in 2000, the producers of Ballykissangel asked whether she would join the cast. She had reservations over her ability to cope emotionally but took on the part of Avril Burke.
In 2001, she also appeared in an episode of Cold Feet and one of Pie in the Sky. In 2010 she appeared in "Your Sudden Death Question", S4:E3 of Lewis. In 2012 she appeared in an episode of police comedy Vexed.
Since 2001, she has been pursuing parallel careers of scriptwriting and acting.
In October 2013, she appeared in Sarah Rutherford's "Adult Supervision" at Park Theatre (London).

Vanessa Redgrave CBE (born 30 January 1937) is an English actress and political activist. Redgrave rose to prominence in 1961 playing Rosalind in the Shakespeare comedy As You Like It with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has since starred in more than 35 productions in London's West End and on Broadway, winning the 1984 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Revival for The Aspern Papers, and the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for the revival of Long Day's Journey into Night. She also received Tony nominations for The Year of Magical Thinking and Driving Miss Daisy.
On screen she has starred in scores of films and is a six-time Oscar nominee, winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the title role in the film Julia (1977). Her other nominations were for Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment (1966), Isadora (1968), Mary, Queen of Scots (1971), The Bostonians (1984), and Howards End (1992). Richard Dormer is a Northern Irish actor, playwright and screenwriter. He was born in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. After to being accepted to the Royal College of Art Richard accepted a scholarship at the RADA school of acting in London. After living and working in London, he returned to Northern Ireland. He lives in Belfast and is married to director Rachel O'Riordan. Dormer is perhaps best known for his performance as Northern Irish Snooker star, Alex Higgins in Hurricane, which he wrote and starred in. The production received praise from critics and even from Higgins himself and saw Richard win The Stage award for best actor in 2003. He is currently the bookie's third favourite to play Higgins in the scheduled film of his life behind Cillian Murphy and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. In 2004 Richard won the Irish Times Best Actor Award for his performance in Frank McGuinness's Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme and in 2005 completed a season with Sir Peter Hall at the Theatre Royal and performed Bath in the George Bernard Shaw play, You Can Never Tell, William Shakespeare's,Much Ado About Nothing, Noël Coward's play, Private Lives, and in a production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Since, Dormer has written a number of plays including The Half and Gentleman's Tea Drinking Society which were produced through Belfast's Ransom theatre company. He has also provided the voices for over twenty BBC Radio 4 plays, documentaries and advertising campaigns. Following a run of film castings playing secondary characters, he was cast as the lead in the 2012 Good Vibrations which tells the story of Northern Ireland personality and punk rock visionary Terri Hooley. The film premièred at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and was awarded 'best film' at the Galway film awards. 2012 also saw Dormer taking over the role of Lord Beric Dondarrion, known as the "Lightning Lord", the leader of the "Brotherhood Without Banners" for Season 3 of HBO series Game of Thrones.

Noreen Kershaw is an English television actress and director.
She trained at the Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre and, at Liverpool's Everyman Theatre, originated the title role of the play Shirley Valentine, later made famous by Pauline Collins. She was seen in the BBC television series Life on Mars, as WPC Phyllis Dobbs, the desk officer.
She had previously played the role of Kathy Roach in Channel 4's Brookside 1988-1990 and been a star of the long running Granada TV sitcom, Watching.
She has directed episodes of the top rated ITV1 soap opera, Coronation Street, as well as Channel 4's comedy drama, Shameless, ITV1 series Emmerdale and Heartbeat and BBC Scotland"s River City.

Shelagh was born in Vancouver and relocated to England when she was six years old. She starred in Dennis Potter's, Prix Italia winner, Cream In My Coffee before moving to Toronto and then onto Los Angeles. After appearing in several TV series, films and at the prestigious Stratford festival in Canada, she returned to England to play Dr Kate Webster in Peak Practice for several series. After completing the three year film and screenwriting program at Kingston university- her two short films: RUN And David Rose have won awards and been nominated as best short film at several international film festivals.
