She began ballet study at age 6, trained with youth programs around the country and, at age 15, joined the San Francisco Ballet. After three years of touring, she switched to contemporary dance and began studying acting while working as a bartender. Shortly thereafter, she landed her first speaking part on an episode of Married with Children (1987). Parker likes to ride horses, spend time with family and friends and drive hot wheels. She even attended the Motion Picture Stunt Driving Course in San Bernardino, California.

Harve Presnell (September 14, 1933 – June 30, 2009) was an American actor and singer. He began his career in the mid 1950s as a classical baritone, singing with orchestras and opera companies throughout the United States. His career reoriented away from classical music to musical theatre in 1960 after Meredith Willson cast him in the lead role of his new Broadway musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown. His portrayal of "Leadville Johnny" was a resounding success and he reprised the role in the 1964 film version of the musical, winning a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal. Presnell went on to star in a few more films during the 1960s, but by the early 1970s that aspect of his career came to a standstill. From 1970 to 1995 he mostly worked as a musical theatre performer on Broadway, the West End, and in touring productions out of New York. In his early 60s, Presnell saw a resurgence in his movie career which lasted until his death. He portrayed character roles in films like Fargo (1996), Saving Private Ryan (1998), and Flags of Our Fathers (2006). He also appeared on television as Mr. Parker in The Pretender and Lew Staziak in Andy Barker, P.I.. He had recurring roles on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Dawson's Creek. Tyler Christopher began his acting career on the daytime drama General Hospital as Nikolas Cassadine in July 1996. He immediately captured the hearts of fans and the notice of television critics. He won the Soap Opera Digest Award as "Best Newcomer" in 1997. His first run on the show was from 1996 to 1999. Christopher returned to the show in 2003. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Younger Actor in 1998 and Best Supporting Actor in 2005 and 2006. During his hiatus from General Hospital, Christopher was cast as a regular (Ethan) on The Pretender and the two subsequent Pretender TV Movies. He landed the lead role in the CBS Pilot "Sam's Circus" and also the UPN Pilot "One for the Money". In 2006 he was cast in the ABC pilot "Secrets of a Small Town". Tyler made numerous guestappearances on Charmed and Angel, CSI: Las Vegas, Boomtown, JAG, and many more. Tyler appeared as Jacob Wheeler Jr. in Emmy winning Steven Spielberg's television mini-series Into the West which premiered on June 10, 2005. Christopher starred in several independent features during his post-GH career: Out of the Black, Catfish in Black Bean Sauce, and Face The Music. All three are available on DVD. Tyler returned to the role of Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital in April 2003 and ended his final run as Nikolas Cassadine in July 2016 wit a Daytime Emmy Award. In August 2017, it was announced that Christopher had joined the cast of Days of Our Lives, originating the role of Stefan DiMera. His last episode was March 20, 2019. On October 31, 2023, Tyler Christopher was found dead from positional asphyxia due to acute alcohol intoxication. He was 50 years old.
