Tilda Swinton (born Katherine Matilda Swinton; November 5, 1960) is an award-winning British actress of Scottish descent, known for her versatile roles in independent films and blockbusters. She is a recipient various accolades throughout her long career, including an Academy Award and two BAFTA Awards, in addition to being nominated for three Golden Globe Awards and five Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Swinton began her career by appearing in experimental films starting with Caravaggio (1986), followed by The Last of England (1988), War Requiem (1989), and The Garden (1990). She won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival for her portrayal of Isabella of France in Edward II (1991). She next starred in Sally Potter's Orlando (1992), for which she received a nomination for the European Film Award for Best Actress. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her performance in The Deep End (2001), and followed this with appearances in Vanilla Sky (2001), Adaptation (2002), Constantine (2005), Julia (2008), and I Am Love (2009).

He is best known for his role as Dr. Luka Kovač on the hit television series ER. He's also known for his roles as Erik the Red on the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla, Garcia Flynn on NBC's Timeless, John Woods on CBS's Extant, Marco Costanteon NBC's Crossing Lines, Nicholae Schiller on ABC's Red Widow, Dragan Armansky in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), voice of Soto in Ice Age, Jimmy Angelo in Practical Magic, and Bazta Sergeant in The Peacemaker.
He grew up in Sibenik, Croatia (then Yugoslavia), a port town on the Adriatic Sea, where he decided at an early age that he wanted to be an actor. He first performed in local theater groups and then entered the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. Goran gained popularity in Croatia when, at the age of 21, he was cast as Hamlet in the prestigious Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s staging of Shakespeare’s play. Richard was born in Pittsburgh, PA . His mother was a Welsh immigrant and his adoptive father was a native of Pittsburgh. Richard moved to Los Angeles with his family in the 60's and he graduated from Lennox High School. Richard went on to earn his BA in Theatre Arts from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He moved his family to Grass Valley, CA in 1979 and was active with the Foothill Theatre Company, a regional theatre in Nevada City. Richard came back to Los Angeles in 1991 to resume his TV/Film career. He still maintains his Northern California residence with his wife, Judy and their daughter Alexis. Richard and Judy have two other sons, Matthew and Justin.Richard is an 8 handicap golfer and club champion in 2011. He played softball and golf in the world senior games and won a Gold medal.He did over 70 skits on The Tonight with Jay Leno.
