Radhakrishnan Parthiban (earlier credited in films as Ra Parthiepan) is an Indian film actor, director, producer and writer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He has worked in more 50 films and has directed nearly 10 films. Parthiepan is known for having directed critically acclaimed films like Pudhiya Paadhai and Housefull and for his performances in films like Bharathi Kannamma, Vetri Kodi Kattu, Azhagi, Melvilasom and Aayirathil Oruvan. His movies Housefull (1999) and Pudhea Paadhai (1989) won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. After graduating in 1979, he briefly had a career writing short stories under the pen name of "Bharathi" in Tamil Magazines before in 1984- he became K.Bhagyaraj's personal assistant and later Assistant Director. The Bhagyaraj-Parthiban duo worked in over 40 films from 1984 to 1991. Parthiban also had small roles in several Bhagyaraj films. His acting debut was in 1992 with "Puthiya Padai" alon with Actress Seetha whom he would later go on to marry. His commercial song "Ae Kala Kala Kan Adicha Kalakala" from the film "Devathiyin Paadhangal" made him a known name. However it was only the superhit film Bharathi Kanamma (1996) which made him a star. This was followed by a National Awardwinning performance in Housefull and a number of popular films such as Thooku Sandhu, Tirupuram, Kannata Kaanadhavan and James Pandu in the late 90's-early 2000's. He also moved to comedy and had memorable funny scenes with Vadivel beginning with Bharathi Kanamma.

Devayani is an Indian actress. She starred 75 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, along with a few Hindiand one in Bengali. She received the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for her performances in the films Kadhal Kottai, Surya Vamsam and Bharathi. She has also appeared in the films Bharathi, Friends and Azhagi as well as in the Sun TV series Kolangal and Muthaaram.

Rahman (born Rashin Rahman) is an Indian film actor who has starred in over a 150 films, primarily Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. In Telugu cinema, he is known by the stage name Raghu. Rahman made his debut in Koodevide (1983), for which he won his first Kerala State Award for Best Supporting Actor. He was a popular teen idol in Malayalam cinema during the 1980s, later on he became a lead actor in Tamil cinema during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He eventually shifted to Tamil and Telugu films during the 1990s. He did make a comeback in Malayalam films since 2004 and has been acting in leading and supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu films post-2000s.

Kaveri, also known as Kalyani, is an Indian film actress and film producer, who works in the South Indian film industries. Making her debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film Ammanam Kili, she appeared in several Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada-language films.

Manorama, a legend, was born Gopi Shantha to Kasi Clockudaiyar and Ramamitham on 26 May 1943 at Mannargudi, Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu. Later her family moved to Pallathur near Karaikudi owing to poverty. She started her acting career at 12 years as a drama artist.When she started her stage performances she was rechristened as Manorama by the drama director, Thiruvengadam, and the harmonist, Thiayagarajan. She continued to act in plays and also performed on stage as a playback singer.

Radha Ravi is an Indian film and television actor, who played supporting roles throughout his career. He is the son of yesteryear actor, M. R. Radha and the uncle of Vasu Vikram and half-brother of Raadhika Sarathkumar. He is a former chief member of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association. He is known for his roles as an antagonist in Tamil films and a he acted in Chellamae serial. He is also known for his controversial criticism of other film personalities.

Vadivelu is an Indian film actor, comedian and playback singer. Since the 1990s, he has acted mainly as a comedian in Tamil films and is renowned for his slapstick comedies. Vadivelu has won several Filmfare and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
