Jack is a dog. When he's not photographing women, as a profession, he's seducing them. Until now. Home from Paris, he feels empty and fed up with his promiscuous lifestyle. With his pal Buddy as a witness, Jack vows to find love and settle down. Jack keeps his word and marries Faith, but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Even though they've had a child together, Jack soon falls into old patterns. He does his best to hide his infidelity, but Faith is not fooled. She leaves him, and takes their son Sam with her. Realizing how important Sam is to him, Jack pulls his act together and wins custody. Getting to know his son on a new level, Jack finds the one thing he's been longing for: pure, unconditional true love.

Barbara Williams (born 1953) is a Canadian-born American actress. Williams starred in the 1984 Paramount film Thief of Hearts and in the 1992 film Oh, What a Night. Williams was born in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the daughter of Simone and Jack Williams, a tugboat skipper and logger. She is the wife of Tom Hayden.

Gabriel W. "Gabe" Kaplan (born March 31, 1945) is an American comedian, actor, poker commentator, and professional poker player.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for his role as Gabriel "Gabe" Kotter in the 1970s sitcom, Welcome Back, Kotter, but he has become more visible in recent years in relation to the popularity of poker, especially the "No-Limit Texas Hold-'Em" type, particularly as co-host and joint commentator, with A.J. Benza, on previous seasons of High Stakes Poker on GSN. Gabe was replaced by fellow comedian and celebrity poker player Norm Macdonald for the show's seventh season.
