Based on the popular books, the story tells of Tony who wants a friend to add some adventure to his life. What he gets is Rudolph, a vampire kid with a good appetite. The two end up inseparable, but their fun is cut short when all the hopes of the vampire race could be gone forever in single night. With Tony's access to the daytime world, he helps them to find what they've always wanted.

James Edward Carter is an English actor. He is best known for his role in Downton Abbey (2010–2015) playing Mr Carson, a role that has earned him four nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (2012–2015). Alice Maud Krige is a South African actress and producer. Her first feature film role was as the Gilbert and Sullivan singer Sybil Gordon in the 1981 Academy Award-winning film Chariots of Fire. Since then, she has played a variety of roles in a number of genres. Krige first played the role of the Borg Queen in the motion picture Star Trek: First Contact and reprised the role for the final episode of the television series Star Trek: Voyager. A year after the series ended, she reprised the role in "Borg Invasion 4-D" at Star Trek: The Experience.
She attended Rhodes University in Grahamstown where she pursued an undergraduate degree in psychology and literature, but quickly turned to acting, earning an honors degree in drama from Rhodes, before a moving to London to pursue a new career path. Once in England, she studied drama at the London Central School of Speech and Drama before making her acting performance debut in the 1979 BBC Play for Today.

Anna Katherine Popplewell (born 16 December 1988) is an English actress. Popplewell is known for playing Susan Pevensie in the fantasy film series The Chronicles of Narnia (2005–2008), that earned her a number of accolades.
Aside from her The Chronicles of Narnia role, Popplewell played the role of Chyler Silva in the web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (2012) which is based on the video game of the same name, and starred as Lady Lola in the historical romantic drama series Reign (2013–2016), which was her first leading role in a television series.
