John Doe (born John Nommensen Duchac on February 25, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, poet and bass player. Doe founded the much-praised L.A. punk band X, of which he is still an active member. His musical compositions and performances span the rock, country and folk music genres. As an actor, he has dozens of television appearances and several movies to his credit, including the role of Jeff Parker in the television series Roswell.
In addition to X, Doe performs with the country-folk-punk band The Knitters and has released records as a solo artist. In the early 1980s, he performed on two albums by The Flesh Eaters.
In the 1989 biopic Great Balls of Fire!, Doe played Jerry Lee Lewis's cousin-turned-father-in-law J. W. Brown. Doe starred in the 1992 film Roadside Prophets and in the 1998 short Lone Greasers. Other movie acting credits include Road House, Vanishing Point, Salvador, Boogie Nights, The Specials, The Good Girl, Gypsy 83 and Pure Country. As a musician with X, he has two feature-length concert films, several music videos, and an extended performance-and-interview sequence in The Decline of Western Civilization, Penelope Spheeris's seminal documentary about the early-1980s L.A. punk scene.
Along with co-writer Exene Cervenka, Doe composed most of the songs recorded by X. Wild Gift, an album from that band's heyday, was named "Record of the Year" by Rolling Stone, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times. With Dave Alvin, he co-wrote two of the songs on the Blasters' 1984 album Hard Line, "Just Another Sunday" and "Little Honey".
In the 1992 movie The Bodyguard (starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston), it was Doe's version of "I Will Always Love You" that plays on the jukebox when Costner and Houston's characters are dancing. It was released on audio cassette by Warner Bros. in September 1992, but is difficult to obtain (though bootleg copies can be downloaded from the Internet). No version is believed to have been released on CD.
"The Meanest Man in the World" by Doe was featured in Season 4 of the television series Friday Night Lights and included on the second soundtrack album.
John Doe released an album with Canadian indie rock band The Sadies called Country Club on April 14, 2009. The album features covers of country classics along with original songs.

Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys, she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors and starred in WarGames (1983), The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998), Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead.
Rosanna Lisa Arquette (born August 10, 1959) is an American actress. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance in the TV film The Executioner's Song (1982) and won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the film Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). Her other film roles include After Hours (also 1985), The Big Blue (1988), Pulp Fiction (1994), and Crash (1996). She also directed the documentary Searching for Debra Winger (2002) and starred in the ABC sitcom What About Brian? from 2006 to 2007.

Lumi Cavazos (born December 21, 1968) is a Mexican actress who won the Best Actress awards at the Tokyo Film Festival, and Brazil’s Festival de Gramado for her portrayal of "Tita" in the 1993 adaptation of Laura Esquivel’s Mexican novel, Like Water for Chocolate. The film grabbed the attention of US film critics and moviegoers, and facilitated her entry into the American film industry. She subsequently relocated to Los Angeles.
Born in Monterrey, Cavazos began her acting career at the age of 15, and made her film debut in Busi Cortes’ 1988 El Secreto de Romalia. She has acted in numerous Mexican films and television series since then, and has also done a fair amount of work in the U.S., appearing in such television dramas as "Sugar Town". Cavazos is sometimes credited as "Rosita Lumi Cavazos".

Mary Marr "Polly" Platt (January 29, 1939 – July 27, 2011) was an American film producer, production designer and screenwriter. She was the first female art director accepted into Hollywood's Art Director's Guild. In addition to her credited work, she was widely known as mentor (for which she was honored with Women in Film Crystal Award) as well as an uncredited collaborator and networker. In the case of the latter, she is widely credited with contributing to the success of ex-husband and director Peter Bogdanovich's early films; discovering actors such as Cybill Shepherd and Tatum O'Neal; and connecting producer James L. Brooks to Matt Groening, a meeting which eventually resulted in the satiric animated television series, The Simpsons.

Chris Mulkey (born May 3, 1948) is an American actor who most recently appeared in Cloverfield, the NBC TV movie Knight Rider, and as a corporate executive in season 7 of 24. He has also played a coach in four episodes of Friday Night Lights, and appeared in numerous TV shows and movies as far back the mid 1970s, such as Baretta and early '90s cult classic Twin Peaks. Finally, he is well known to fans of the Wing Commander franchise as Col. Jacob "Hawk" Manley. In the science fiction action film The Hidden, he portrayed a man named Jack, who is possessed by the parasitic alien antagonist in the beginning of the movie.
Mulkey was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin and is married to actress Karen Landry.

Phil Tan was born in Singapore where he spent his childhood and then at the age of five moved to the UK. Phil started off his athletic career as a gymnast where he became the British Youth Tumbling champion and a member of the British squad for many years. Years later after getting into martial arts, Phil also became the Men's British Tae Kwon do Champion.
Phil's first break in film, was as an actor and fight choreographer in a film called Le complot diabolique du docteur Fu Manchu
(1980) with Peter Sellers. Afer that came a year on Greystoke, la légende de Tarzan (1984), also as an actor and trainer forChristopher Lambert. Phil was then contacted by Steven Spielberg and Robert Watts to train the pricipal actor 'Jonathan Ke Quanin' for Indiana Jones et le temple maudit(1984).
He was then invited to become a member of The British Stunt Register in 1986. That was the start of Phil's stunt career. Now Philip Tan lives in LA and works as a 2nd Unit Director, stunt and fight co-ordinator on some of Hollywoods bigget movies.
