Ewan Gordon McGregor (/ˈjuːən/ YOO-ən; born 31 March 1971) is a Scottish actor. His accolades include a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2013, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to drama and charity.
While studying drama at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, McGregor began his career with a leading role in the British series Lipstick on Your Collar (1993). He gained international recognition for starring as drug addict Mark Renton in Trainspotting (1996) and as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (1999–2005). His career progressed with starring roles in the musical Moulin Rouge! (2001), action film Black Hawk Down (2001), fantasy film Big Fish (2003), and thriller Angels and Demons (2009). He gained praise for his performances in the thriller The Ghost Writer (2010) and romantic comedy Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011).
McGregor made his directorial debut with the crime film American Pastoral (2016), in which he also starred. For his dual role as brothers Ray and Emmit Stussy in the third season of the anthology series Fargo (2017), he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film. He voiced Lumière in Beauty and the Beast (2017), and played the title role in Christopher Robin (2018), Dan Torrance in Doctor Sleep (2019), and Black Mask in Birds of Prey (2020). He reprised his role as Kenobi in the 2022 miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi, and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor for his portrayal of fashion designer Halston in the miniseries Halston (2021).
McGregor has also starred in theatre productions of Guys and Dolls (2005–2007) and Othello (2007–2008). He has been involved in charity work and has served as an ambassador for UNICEF UK since 2004.
Anna Louise Friel (born 12 July 1976) is an English actress. She rose to fame in the UK as Beth Jordache on the Channel 4 soap Brookside.

Nigel Lindsay is an English actor. As well as many roles in TV and in film, most notably as Barry, the Muslim convert in Chris Morris's feature debut Four Lions for which he was nominated for Best British Comedy Performance in Film at the British Comedy Awards 2011, he has worked extensively in theatre, most recently opposite Sir Antony Sher as Dr Harry Hyman in Arthur Miller's Broken Glass at the Tricycle Theatre, for which he won the 2011 Whatsonstage Theatregoers' Choice Award as Best Supporting Actor. Nigel played Mugsy opposite Ray Winstone and Phil Daniels in the original 1995 National Theatre production of Patrick Marber’s Dealer's Choice; Max in The Real Thing by Tom Stoppard which won three Tonys on Broadway in 2000; Ariel in the 2004 Olivier award winning National Theatre production of Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman, with Jim Broadbent and David Tennant; Nathan Detroit in Michael Grandage’s Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre in 2005, and Lenny in Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming with Ken Cranham and Danny Dyer at the Almeida Theatre in 2009. He was also nominated in the 2008 WOS Awards as Best Supporting Actor opposite Stockard Channing and Jodie Whittaker in Awake and Sing, directed by Michael Attenborough at the Almeida Theatre. He will play the title character in the West End production of Shrek the Musical, which will begin performances at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in May 2011.

Tim McInnerny ( born 18 September 1956) is an English actor. He is known for his role as Percy in Blackadder and Blackadder II, and as Captain Darling in Blackadder Goes Forth; he did not reprise his role as Percy in Blackadder the Third due to a fear of being typecast. A guest appearance in series three, however, makes him the only person other than Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson to appear in all four series of Blackadder and also appearing in the one-off special Blackadder: Back & Forth. He has also appeared in Spooks and the Doctor Who story "Planet of the Ood".

Pip Torrens (born June 2, 1960) is an English actor. He studied English Literature at Trinity College, Cambridge. His television appearances include Consenting Adults, two episodes of Doctor Who ("Human Nature"/"The Family of Blood"), Green Wing,Silk, The Government Inspector (as John Scarlett), The Last Detective and DI Torrens for a few episodes in The Bill in 2001. He has also appeared in a 2008 series of UK television advertisements for First Direct, with Matthew King. In 2011, he appeared in both episodes of an Outnumbered two-part special. In 2012 he appeared in the first episode of series 8 of Hustle and presented new gameshow The Devil's Dinner Party. His film appearances include Tomorrow Never Dies as the captain of HMS Bedford, the 2001 film To End All Wars and voicework for Valiant.

Betsy Brantley (born September 20, 1955) is an American actress.
Brantley was born Rutherfordton, North Carolina. She is the older sister of producer/screenwriter Duncan Brantley, and formerly married to Simon Dutton and Steven Soderbergh.
Betsy studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in the United Kingdom. It was there that she was discovered to film a movie with Sean Connery titled, Five Days One Summer. Like Five Days One Summer, most of her films are based in Europe. Her most famous role, perhaps, is her portrayal of Neely Pritt in the cult classic Shock Treatment. She also played alongside Pierce Brosnan and Michael Caine in the film version of "The Fourth Protocol" and enjoyed a cameo in the Ashley Judd movie "Double Jeopardy". Brantley was also the body double for Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
Along with several other films, Betsy has been a cast member in quite a few television shows. These shows include Tour of Duty and Second Noah. On Tour of Duty, she played the role of Dr. Jennifer Seymour (later "Major Jennifer Seymour"). On Second Noah, she played Jesse Beckett, a veterinarian and the mother of eight adopted children.
Brantley played Dolph Lundgren's girlfriend in Dark Angel (retitled I Come in Peace in America).
She has also appeared as Elsie Cubitt in the Granada Television production of 'The Dancing Men', from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Caroline Langrishe (born 10 January 1958, London, England) is an English actress.
In 1976, Langrishe appeared in the BBC production of The Glittering Prizes. In 1977 she played the role of Kitty in a BBC adaptation of Anna Karenina. Her first big part was in the 1978 British adaption of Les Misérables. She also starred as Jane Winters in the futuristic BBC Play for Today episode The Flipside of Dominick Hide (1980), and its follow up, Another Flip for Dominick (1982) both by Jeremy Paul and Alan Gibson. She played Janet Hollywell, wife of Fred Hollywell, in the 1984 adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol starring George C. Scott.
She became a leading character actress, taking the female lead in the BBC detective series Pulaski in 1987 and appearing in several episodes of Chancer in 1990. She is perhaps best known for her role as Charlotte Cavendish in the BBC series Lovejoy in which she starred for two series in 1993-94. She later appeared in Sharpe's Regiment (1996) and Sharpe's Justice (1997) as Lady Anne Camoynes. She played the unhappy landlady to Hywel Bennett's professional scrounger James Shelley in the 5th series of "Shelley" on ITV
She played Georgina Channing alongside Martin Shaw in drama Judge John Deed and has recently joined BBC medical drama Casualty as executive director Marilyn Fox.
She has also starred in Heartbeat, in the episode "Echoes of the Past", she played a mum-to-be Jane Hayes, who is convinced that her house is haunted when she hears a baby crying goes into the nursery and thinks she hears a ghost. This episode was broadcast on 24 December 1998.
In 2010 she played Ros, an 'older woman' in an open marriage in Pete Versus Life on Channel 4
Caroline Langrishe married the actor Patrick Drury in London on 15 November 1984, but the couple divorced in 1995 after having two daughters, Rosalind and Leonie.
