Denny Traynor has the idyllic life a loving wife and family, a flourishing career. Seems like life is perfect until some policemen from another break into their home one night and arrest him for a twenty year old murder. Initially, Denny denies the accusations made against him but when evidence is presented that implicates him, he is then extradited to stand trial. When his wife, whose faith has been shaken asks him what happened, he tells her that he did kill the man they said he killed but in self-defense. However, when there is no evidence that supports his claim, his wife wonders if he has told her the truth, and if she should continue to support him.

Michele Lee (born June 24, 1942) is an American singer, dancer, actress, producer, director and frequent game show panelist of the 1970s. She is best-known for her role as Karen Cooper Fairgate MacKenzie on the 1980s prime-time soap opera, Knots Landing. She also co-starred with Dean Jones in the 1968 Disney film, The Love Bug.

Peter Coyote (born Rachmil Pinchus Ben Mosha Cohon; October 10, 1941) is an American actor, author, director, screenwriter and narrator of films, theatre, television and audio books. His voice work includes narrating the opening ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympics and Apple's iPad campaign. He has also served as on-camera co-host of the 2000 Oscar telecasts.
Coyote was one of the founders of the Diggers, an anarchist improv group active in Haight-Ashbury during the mid-1960s. Coyote was also an actor, writer and director with the San Francisco Mime Troupe; his prominence in the San Francisco counter-culture scene led to his being interviewed for the noted book, Voices from the Love Generation. He acted in and directed the first cross-country tour of the Minstrel Show, and his play Olive Pits, co-authored with Mime Troupe member Peter Berg, won the Troupe an Obie Award from the Village Voice. Coyote became a member, and later chairman, of the California Arts Council from 1975 to 1983. In the late 1970s, he shifted from acting on stage to acting in films. In the 1990s and 2000s, he acted in several television shows. He speaks fluent Spanish and French.

He had many American television and film credits, probably best known to American audiences as the hapless escaped convict Dutch Leitner on the soap opera spoof Soap and as Phillip Chancellor II on The Young and the Restless. Rhodes was well-known to Canadian audiences as Sgt. Nick Raitt and Dr. Grant "Doc" Roberts in the CBC TV series Danger Bay (1984–1990) and Sidestreet (1975–1978), and as Leo on Da Vinci's Inquest (1998-2005). He also starred as Sherman Cottle on Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009). He is the brother of actor Tim Henry. Yanna McIntosh (born 1970) is a Jamaican-born Canadian stage, film and television actress. Yanna honed her craft at the University of Toronto and the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University. Her teaching roles at the National Theatre School and Humber College included directing students in acclaimed productions like Macbeth, Julius Caesar, and Richard III. Her portrayal of Pat Barrows in the 2006 TV movie "Doomstown" earned her a 2007 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role. Notably, McIntosh made history in 2011 as the inaugural recipient of the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role in "Ruined," which also garnered her a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance. She had previously won Doras for her roles in Florence Gibson’s "Belle" and Athol Fugard’s "Valley Song."
