This semi-autobiographical film by Barry Levinson follows various members of the Kurtzman clan, a Jewish family living in suburban Baltimore during the 1950s. As teenaged Ben completes high school, he falls for Sylvia, a black classmate, creating inevitable tensions. Meanwhile, Ben's brother, Van, attends college and becomes smitten with a mysterious woman while their father tries to maintain his burlesque business.

He received widespread recognition and acclaim after starring as Władysław Szpilman in Roman Polanski's The Pianist (2002), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor at age 29, becoming the youngest actor to win in that category. Joseph Anthony “Joe” Mantegna, Jr. (born November 13, 1947) is an American actor, producer, writer and director. He is best known for his roles in box-office hits such as Three Amigos (1986), The Godfather Part III (1990), Forget Paris (1995) and Up Close & Personal (1996). He currently stars in the CBS television series Criminal Minds as FBI Special Agent David Rossi.
Mantegna has gained Emmy Award nominations for his roles in three different miniseries, The Last Don (1997), The Rat Pack (1999) and The Starter Wife (2007). Mantegna served as executive producer for various movies and television movies, such as Corduroy (1984), Hoods (1998), and Lakeboat (2000), which he also directed.
On television, Mantegna starred in the short lived series First Monday (2002) and Joan of Arcadia (2003–2005). Since the 1991 episode "Bart the Murderer", Mantegna has had a recurring role on the animated comedy series The Simpsons as mob boss Fat Tony, reprising the role in The Simpsons Movie (2007). He also played Robert B. Parker's fictional detective Spenser in three made-for-TV movies between 1999 and 2001.

Rebekah Johnson, also credited as Rebekah Jordan or Rebekah, is an American singer-songwriter and actress from Ohio. She wrote the song "Beautiful Disaster" for Kelly Clarkson who loved the song so much she put it on both her first two albums. In 1998, she released "Remember to Breathe" on Elektra Records, the radio singles were "Sin So Well" and "Hey Genius". Rebekah sought and was eventually granted a release from the label due to creative differences. She signed with J Records briefly, but did not complete or release an album. In 2005, Rebekah, under the name Rebekah Jordan, financed, produced and released her new CD independently through her own Tea Party Records. The 6 song EP, titled "The Trouble With Fiction" includes 5 original songs and what is becoming a signature interpretation of the Stevie Nicks classic, "Dreams". Rebekah enlisted the help of musicians that played with her on stage to play for the recording. Butch on drums and percussion (from The Eels, Rufus Wainwright, Tracy Chapman), John Ballinger on guitar and clarinet (from Rufus Wainwright) and Jessica Catron on cello. In 2006, along with Butch, John Ballinger and Jessica Catron, Rebekah formed a new band, "Dreaming Ferns". Rebekah has had important roles in two films, Barry Levinson's Liberty Heights and in the 2003 gay romantic drama Latter Days where she sings two themes: Another Beautiful Day and Tuesday 3:00am.

Stacy Ann-Marie Keibler is an American retired professional wrestler, former cheerleader, actress, dancer, and model. She is specifically known for her work with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and WWE.
Keibler began her professional wrestling career as a part of the Nitro Girls in WCW. She quickly moved on to a more prominent role in the company as the manager Miss Hancock. As Miss Hancock, Keibler was known for doing table dances, her relationship with David Flair, and a pregnancy angle. After WCW was purchased by the WWE in 2001, Keibler moved to the new company, using her real name and taking part in the Invasion storyline, also managing The Dudley Boyz. Keibler also managed Test and Scott Steiner. Before her departure from WWE in 2006, she was affiliated with The Hurricane and Rosey and nicknamed "Super Stacy."
Keibler was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars: season two, where she placed third.
