Sir Ian Murray McKellen CH CBE (born 25 May 1939) is an English actor. With a career spanning more than sixty years, he is noted for his roles on the screen and stage in genres ranging from Shakespearean dramas and modern theatre to popular fantasy and science fiction. He is regarded as a British cultural icon and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1991. He has received numerous accolades, including a Tony Award, six Olivier Awards, and a Golden Globe Award, as well as nominations for two Academy Awards, five BAFTA Awards, and five Emmy Awards.
McKellen made his stage debut in 1961 at the Belgrade Theatre as a member of its repertory company, and in 1965 he made his first West End appearance. In 1969, he was invited to join the Prospect Theatre Company to play the lead parts in Shakespeare's Richard II and Marlowe's Edward II. In the 1970s McKellen became a stalwart of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre of Great Britain. He has earned five Olivier Awards for his roles in Pillars of the Community (1977), The Alchemist (1978), Bent (1979), Wild Honey (1984), and Richard III (1995). McKellen made his Broadway debut in The Promise (1965). He went on to receive the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role as Antonio Salieri in Amadeus (1980). He was further nominated for Ian McKellen: Acting Shakespeare (1984). He returned to Broadway in Wild Honey (1986), Dance of Death (1990), No Man's Land (2013), and Waiting for Godot (2013), the latter two being a joint production with Patrick Stewart.
McKellen achieved worldwide fame for his film roles, including the titular King in Richard III (1995), James Whale in Gods and Monsters (1998), Magneto in the X-Men films, and Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings (2001–2003) and The Hobbit (2012–2014) trilogies. McKellen came out as gay in 1988 and has since championed LGBT social movements worldwide. He was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in October 2014. McKellen is a cofounder of Stonewall, an LGBT rights lobby group in the United Kingdom, named after the Stonewall riots. He is also patron of LGBT History Month, Pride London, Oxford Pride, GayGlos, LGBT Foundation, and FFLAG.

Brendan James Fraser (born December 3, 1968) is an American-Canadian actor. Fraser had his breakthrough in 1992 with the comedy Encino Man and the drama School Ties. He gained further prominence for his starring roles in the comedies With Honors (1994) and George of the Jungle (1997) and emerged as a star playing Rick O'Connell in The Mummy trilogy (1999–2008). He took on dramatic roles in Gods and Monsters (1998), The Quiet American (2002), and Crash (2004), and further fantasy roles in Bedazzled (2000) and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008).

Lynn Rachel Redgrave, OBE (8 March 1943 – 2 May 2010) was an English actress. A member of the well-known British family of actors, Redgrave trained in London before making her theatrical debut in 1962. By the mid-1960s she had appeared in several films, including Tom Jones (1963), and Georgy Girl (1966) which won her a New York Film Critics Award and nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. In 1967, she made her Broadway debut, and performed in several stage productions in New York while making frequent returns to London's West End. She performed with her sister Vanessa in Three Sisters in London, and in the title role in a television production of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? in 1991. She made a return to films in the late 1990s in films such as Shine (1996) and Gods and Monsters (1998), for which she received another Academy Award nomination.

Darr was born Lisa Darr Grabemann in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Mollie, an actress, and Karl Grabemann, a lawyer. She attended Stanford University and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Biology; she went on to receive an MFA in Acting from UCLA.
She played Annie Whitman on ABC's Life As We Know It. Darr's previous television appearances include The WB's teenage drama, Popular, as Jane McPherson as well as the short-lived but critically acclaimed 1996 Fox series Profit as Gail Koner. In the fifth season of the show Ellen, she played Laurie Manning, the girlfriend of the title character, Ellen Morgan; this was notable as the first openly gay relationship involving a major character in an American television series.
Darr also made an appearance on the Fox drama House in 2006, playing a victim's mother in the episode "Distractions". She has made an appearance on the third season of The Office in the episode "Product Recall". Darr has recently appeared in the fourth season of Weeds (on Showtime) as Ann Carilli. Arthur Dignam (born 9 September 1939) is an Australian character actor, born on Lord Howe Island. He attended Newington College (1955–1956) as a boarder.
He is possibly best known for one of his early roles, that of Brother Francine in Fred Schepisi's The Devil's Playground (1976). While he has worked mainly in film and television, he has also worked in theatre, including musical theatre. He played Pontius Pilate in the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1972–73, and appears on the original Australian cast recording.
His son is the actor Nicholas Gledhill.

John Gatins (born April 16, 1968) is an American actor, screenwriter and director. He was born in New York City, attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and pursued a career in acting. After appearing in many lower-budget films, he got some bigger roles in Varsity Blues (1999) and Big Fat Liar (2002). Jeremy Kramer, an employee at Fox that Gatins was close with, paid him $1,000 to write a teen comedy. That sparked his career in screenwriting. His first film that he wrote was Summer Catch (2001). Later on, he got to write some bigger budget films like Coach Carter (2005), Dreamer (2005) and Flight (2012). He would then get nominated at the Academy Awards for best original screenplay for the movie Flight.
