Filmmaker Ernesto Rimoch looks at the potent combination of love and ambition in this film about a couple who's so happy their daughter is marrying into a rich clan that they throw the best wedding ever, even if they can't afford it. When the father (Damián Alcázar) loses the money to pay for the musician, mayhem ensues. The film itself is made to look like a videotaping of the wedding, revealing who's responsible for the crime.

Damián Alcázar
Jorge Damián Alcázar Castello is a renowned Mexican actor, born in Jiquilpan, Michoacan, on January 8, 1953. One of the most talented and recognized contemporary actors, Damián studied at the National Institute of Fine Arts, and later studied at the Centro of Theater Experimentation and, later, at the Faculty of Theater at the Universidad Veracruzana, where, years later, he would be a teacher. After several years in the theater, Damián made his film debut with The Center of the Labyrinth (1985), and later worked in films such as Romero (1989), The Naked City (1989), Bandidos (1991), Mujer del Puerto (1991). ), Lolo (1993), where he would win his first Ariel award, for best male co-acting, and Two crimes (1994), by Roberto Sneider, for which he was nominated, again, for the Ariel. Bruno is a member of the Bichir family of Lebanese origin whose members are prominent actors. Both of his parents, Alejandro Bichir and Maricruz Nájera, and two older brothers Odiseo and Demián Bichir are actors.

Ana Ofelia Murguía was a Mexican actress with a long career in theater, film and television for more than 40 years. She is a graduate of the Theater School of the National Institute of Fine Arts and a student of the “father of Mexican theater” Seki Sano, which forged her for a fruitful career on stage.
